no joke..no joke at all
I'm not crazy about his look but I thought Ledger was freaking AWESOME in the trailer and I'm hoping he'll pull off the makeup. Either way, he was great so the makeup will be secondary for me.and I agree that the joker looks like ass run over twice.
Does anyone actually have a link of Will Smith saying that the original ending was more like the book?
Anyone? Anyone?
And where's this business about Will saying that he wanted Del Toro to direct it?
Will Smith originally wanted Pans Labryrinth Director Guillermo Del Toro for I Am Legend, but opted for Constantines Francis Lawrence, after Del Toro turned him down. Will Smith talks about I Am Legend, with visuals from the film in this short movie interview clip.
Just came back from seeing it and I have this burning question.
Who moved FRED from from the store to the location where Legend got boobytrapped? Who laid/set the trap? Was Legend insain and did he do it himself?
I thought it was pretty clear that the main creature did it to trap NEVILLE
Ummm, Neville was the main character of the movie. There is no character named Legend.Sorry I had some drinks before the movie..who is Neville, was he the main zombie and the trap was set by Legend himself you say?
Sorry I had some drinks before the movie..who is Neville, was he the main zombie and the trap was set by Legend himself you say? Ohh and why did he shoot FRED???
If a more faithful ending was shot, then maybe there'll be a director's cut? I hope so.
P.S.: Will Smith was quite pissed that Warners nixed the original ending so he actually revealed the ending of the movie in an interview. At the end Akiva Goldsman asked the reporters to not write about what Smith had revealed.
They should have hadThe main vamp look at the wall of pictures of dead vamps at the end and call Robert a "murderer" or something.
I didn't like it. I enjoyed it somehow, but the ending didn't satisfy me at all, mostly because I knew the ending of the book and it was a HORRID step down.
If at the end, instead, the lead zombie had surprisingly confronted him verbally, not leaving the 'no human behavior' storyline dropped and ignored, then having Robert finish the thing off, clinching the fear that it had talked about, about Robert being legend amongst them, leading to the zombies shrinking back in fear of him.
Instead we got this weak "legend" of Robert Neville that nullifies the title of the movie. No one can say "I am Legend" if they're only a legend after they're dead, can they?
Maybe Del Toro should have directed.
