is the recent run of Iron Man comics worth checking out? Like World's Most Wanted storyline?

So is Stark a complete vegetable now? How is he gonna be of any use during Siege?

Don't worry, something tells me he'll be back in full form by next may...

He'll back up and around by the time siege starts, but we wont see how he managed to reboot himself until May. That's kinda how comics work. The story may take six months to finish but the whole thing probably only lasted about 3 days.

I think it will involve A car battery, a copper coiled butt plug, and a King Crimson LP.

In fact, I'll be disappointed if it doesn't go down that way. :o

All i wanna see is Steve smack Tony in the face and say "thanks for getting me killed *******."

I'm pretty sure Steve knows it wasn't his fault. If it wasn't on the steps of the court house it woulda been somewhere else. All Tony did was offer a venue.

This isn't very good is it?

IRON MAN: REQUIEM

Just read my advanced copy and I had to come on here and tell you to SAVE YOUR MONEY!

This is the worst example of Marvel taking advantage of customers. Basically this is a very small number of "new" pages of material ONLY created to make a shabby excuse to reprint two old comics, and then concluded with some pages of character profiles. And the "new" material contributes nothing to the whole "stark's a vegetable" point that the character is currently at.

Huge HUGE money grab. Don't know what price they put on it but if it's more than a buck fifty it's just despicable.

In CA, Steve wrote Tony that letter in case of his death asking Stark to save Bucky and give him the Shield. He sounded at peace with everything. It'll be :awesome: to see their reunion

A very ballsy move by Fraction in Invincible Iron Man #20, devoting 6 pages to a Tony Stark monologue. And though it was just half a dozen pages of Tony Stark sitting on a chair and talking, it managed to be the most compelling part of the issue.

Fractions been on a roll. He needs to be given a Marvel Event.

And I demand a Five Fists of Science sequel.

I thought the same thing. Best part of the book. :im: has been  for a while now.

I also liked the subtle shift from being a "Dark Reign story" to being very much an "Iron Man story", with Osborn washing his hands of Stark, leaving it for Iron Man villains Madame Masque and Ghost to take the reins as prime antagonists.

Preview of Iron Man VS Whiplash #1:

http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=preview&id=3926&disp=table

Does it annoy anyone else that they've gone to all the trouble to try and incorporate the movie version of Whiplash into Marvel continuity, but then they call him ANTON Vanko (the name of the original Crimson Dynamo) instead of IVAN Vanko, as Mickey Rourke's character is called in Iron Man 2?

Not as much as when they gave Spider-Man organic web shooters and dumped the mechanical ones.

Oh my god #20 is probably my favorite Iron Man issue to-date.

The best parts are the "dream" sequences.
