No, Azzarello's run is set in the present day. The only books set in the past are Demon Knights, All-Star Western, Morrison's run on Action Comics, and Johns' first arc on Justice League. Everything else is present day.

That meteor is always hurtling. The lightning didn't exist until he summoned it. With magic. Poof. Magic lightning.

And if it's from Atlantean super science, there's no reason it can't be Atlantean super lightning.

Meteors are floating in space until they come within the gravity of a planet........

You see my point. But you trying to make a strawman. Make it a fluffy cloud then.....WHATEVER. If he pulled it down by magic, it doesnt make the cloud magic. Magic is the means....like magnetism.

Yes, I've heard of the Weather Wizard. And good for him having his own means of summoning lightning. But we haven't seen Ocean Master borrowing anything from Weather Wizard.

Lightning didn't exist. Ocean Master waved his magic stick. Lightning happened. Normal lightning doesn't bother Superman. This lightning bothered Superman. Magic lightning.

How come Billy's lightning is magic but Ocean Master's can't be? They were both summoned by magic and came out of the sky.
