Looks like the studios are set to return to business as usual even without a resolution to the SAG dispute. Maybe we'll hear something from Warners soon.

With no end in sight, but no picket lines either, the studios are planning to start ramping up production in the coming weeks. A handful of high-profile projects, including Clint Eastwood's "Grand Torino," have already started up.

"We're hopeful that there will be a deal with actors, but we have no choice but to proceed," Warner Bros. prexy Alan Horn told Daily Variety. "We can't be in a position where we don't have movies."

George Miller's version with Arm & Hammer as Batman, DJ Cotrona as Superman etc.. appears to be dead. The idea of a JLA movie down the line for WB I would imagine is not dead.

Same here. Let them do JLA later & focus on some solo superhero film. Green Arrow is suppose to get made next year or so with the script receiving some praises from what I heard. They should continue to do more like that & then do JLA when the time is right.

TheVileOne:

If ou don't want to see a Justice League movie, why do you keep comming here? To trash the movie? :o

I really hope we can get a good quality JLA film. Sucks the film did fall apart if there was a few changes to cast and maybe the story this could have probably been good. Yes its good that it fell apart because some of the things that were known and the cast for the film wasnt looking that great. I hope we can get a jla film by atless 2012/2013. I would really hate to see this get suck not happening for like 10 more years.

I want a Justice League movie, just not the trash they were planning. I'm glad this stupid idea fell apart.

I see no reason to rush a Justice League movie. Fans have managed to survive this long without one. Look how long it took to get a near perfect Batman movie. No reason to ruin that since that's the most successful comic book super hero movie of all time.

Wonder what Avi Arad has to say about Batman now. "Came and went" indeed.

Two years, and at What expense? The death of a great actor, a crew member, and one actor embarrassed by an arrest?

Could you please explain to me what was so stupid about the Miller's Justice League?

I second that. ''Justice League'' wouldn't affect the existent franchises, had a great diretor, a great screenplay and a good cast, besides the criticism. ''Watchmen'' suffered the same critics and it's revealing itself as one of the best comic book adaptations ever.

You really can't stand that TDK is smashing BO records left and right can you? And that it is regarded so highly by both fans and critics. And that perhaps your precious JLA movie with Arm & Hammer will not happen. "Does it depress you?"

And are you blaming Heath's death on TDK?

Umm what? A crew member died on the first Spider-man movie you know. While it sucks, accidents happen. It's a part of human nature. Accidents will happen in the future no matter what.

The arrest thing. Geezus christ whatever. You don't even know the whole story with that, and its not exactly hurt the movie or Christian Bale really after it came out that it was VERBAL.

Ledger died, but that doesn't take away from how great the movie is nor his performance.

But you know, they have this bonafide franchise now. There's no reason to **** it up for the sake of a stupid JL idea that made no sense at all to ruin the Batman films for.

Avi Arad had such a big attitude about Batman in 2005 coming nowhere close to Spider-man even though it beat Fantastic Four in the same year and everything else Marvel had done before save for X-men 2. Now it will be the biggest one ever including the Spider-man films, so I wonder what he has to say about that.

Vile,

Don't even bother answering this question, it's a waste of time and energy.

Antonello and the dnno,

If you want the answer to those questions read back a ways on this forum. This argument has been done already and this Justice League forum should be moved.

Vile,

Don't be bother with these guys/girls man. They don't get it....

Hey I get waiting years to see a Justice League movie and wanting it soon as possible. Even though getting what you think you want doesn't always end well.

Why wouldn't a JL movie fail not affect the franchises in it?

The only franchises I can see which will get away unscathed from JL failing are Batman and Superman.

OMG I agre with you!!! :wow:

We're posting here because we want a JLA movie. You and Vile don't. I don't go into the TDK forums - because I don't care about those movies. So why are you here? Nothing else to do but rain on our parades? :csad:

Um... Because there is no proof that it would?

Exactly. The VileOne and The Dark Knight are only here flamming. If you don't want the Justice League movie, suit yourself, but whe do, so, don't start bashing the thing before it started just becase they didn't hire you favorite actor or did something you wanted to see.

The fact is: ''Justice League'' would't affect the Superman and Batman franchises becaus they would't be connected. And, it don't matter how bad would the movie get: It would be a big hit, just because it's the frickinn Justice League, so, it would't affect the individual franchises either. And accept it, it would be awesome, just look at the leaked plot. That had potential to be as good or even better than ''The Dark Knight''.

Whe still don't know if it's happening, but it's still alive, so, it deserves it own Forum. And i wonder how the haters would react if the movie got made in 2009, released in 2010/2011 and become a big hit. Priceless. Just priceless. :hehe:

Which leaked plot was that?

The only incident that you can point to that DK was directly responsible for was the crew member dying. Not sure what you mean by the above dramatic post.

Which leaked plot was that?

Maxwell Lord invades Batman's computers and uses the folders with the ways to defeat the heroes on his Omacs, androides leaded by a mind-controlled SUperman, that is under the influence of the powers of the martian manhunter, under controle thanks to microrobots, while the rest of the heroes has to learn how to work together to face the menace.
Something alonge those lines. There are more details availble.
