It's actually not original. Just because it isn't a sequel doesn't mean it's original.

That's why I said for the most part. Trust me, I know it's not original. Most people know it's not original. But it is one of the only non sequels this summer and the effects are something new.

The movie actually sort of looks like Small Soilders only with big alien robots.

But with everyone I talk to, it is the only movie left in the summer that actually has people excited. It won't beat any of the major threquels, but it might be the most memorable movie of the summer. At least out of the blockbusters, but this is B.O. thread and money is the only thing that matters here.

and there also is still Harry Potter. Everyone growns when they hear about another HP movie, but they still make tons of money.

Transformers will do well. But I expect WOTW numbers as it will have a big opening but given it is a Michael Bay movie, everyone will realize it sucks and then big drops. It'll still cross $200-$220 million though.

Harry Potter 5 should also make over $200 million. Probably over $250 million.

As for Fantastic Four I think it and Bourne 3 will be modest hits around $150 million for FF:ROTSS (which without Silver Surfer would bomb HARD) and Bourne playing like the first two and doing quite well around $140 million or so.

Titanic was a horrible movie. To be honest if you liked this movie and you were not a little girl when it came out or gay then you are an anomaly. This movie catered to teens specifically girls, but hey to each his own.

You're in for a suprise son. FF2 would NOT have bombed if the Surfer wasn't in it, and now WITH the Surfer in it, it's going to be a much more bigger success than the first movie. I have no doubt it'll fly past the $200M mark.

I don't think it will fly past 200M but I do think it will hit the 200M mark just barely. I'm estimating around 195 - 215 at this point.

No, slight increases are quite common on Thursday. SM 3 ticked up slightly last Thursday as well.
