By SM5 and SM6 they won't come back, so it will happen eventually. I just want SM4 to be the last of Raimi and the casts SM movies. We have 1 great one left, I can feel it!
 
It should be close to 333m next weekend and to 335m the other. A final tally around 338m seems likely, but it can maybe get to 340m if Sony keeps it long enough in theaters.

Agreed to those who want the cast changed. Maguire doesn't own the role. He's ok as Pete. But jeez, the way he delivers lines as Spidey just doesn't appeal to me. I want to see another trilogy and what more to emphasize that with a cast and director change. Yeah yeah, this team made the Spidey franchise a financial succesa, but like I said, I'd like to see another trilogy with better actors.

I'm not saying the present cast was terrible, I'm saying I want a different direction or tone with future Spidey movies so a different cast will help achieve that goal.

Can't wait until the recast people get their way and then we get a really ****ty movie.
 
A recast is unavoidable and I want a new cast for sm4 to 6......with megan "I want to bang her barins out" fox as MJ.

SM4 is truly going to be great especially if the Cast and Crew are returning, I just have the feeling they will be. I think if they make SM5, and SM6 then they have tio have good stories or else it's not going to be good. Not to mention that if Sam doesn't return then the rest of the franchise is being placed in another directors hand which I think might not be such a good idea because Sam knows what works great for the Spidey films. It's going to be VERY hard trying to find somebody who plays Peter Parker/Spider-man as good as Tobey will. But I am very glad that they probably will be returning for a fourth Film.

Your right if he thinks 1 & 2 are ****ty than he can't handle the truth considering the majority of people would by far disagree with him considering that critics praised it and considering that the people agree with him are equal to the number of a maybe 15.

Theres a very big chance there not coming back.

Not really, especially seeing as Tobey is no where near being the perfect Peter Parker.
 
You won't have long to wait long to find out, Sony/Marvel will be hounded about the SM4 film, they're going to have decide real soon.

They can mess up SM5 and SM6 all they want with new actors as long as I get my fantastic SM4 with the original cast and Raimi.

I think recasting for SM4-SM6 will end up making each movie get worse and worse for the sole fact Raimi has crafted this version of Peter Parker's world, and putting this world in another directors hands won't turn out as good.

I think a reboot would produce a much better Spider-Man movie than a Spider-Man 4 with recasts or a Spider-Man 5 with recasts.

Just give me Spider-Man 4 with Sam, Tobey, Kirsten, and the rest. Have them get married. Give me the Lizard, and give me closure to this version of this Spider-Man world.

After that, I would much prefer a reboot (named something like the Amazing Spider-Man) rather than Spider-Man 5. Though, I doubt if SM4 was a success, they would opt for a reboot and would end up continuing it.

Also, those saying SM1 and SM2 sucked, I couldn't disagree with you more if I wanted to. And those saying we are in denial about it not being good needs to just shut up and acknowledge the power of opinion!

Well I guess we will cross that path of SM5 and SM6 when we come to it. But I'm sure SM4 will be an Amazing Movie and that is a great thing!. By the way, Spidey1 and Spidey2 are AMAZING! Movies and are just VERY breathtaking and enjoyable.
 
I would like to see Tobey return as Peter. I wish we could see Harry again. We do need a new MJ though.

Agreed. SM5 and SM6 are a ways off yet, and SM1 and SM2 are amazing movies.
