Ok, I'm just going to throw this out into the shark infested waters and see if it swims. The voice of the Surfer sounded a hell of a lot like Doug's and if it is, the Fox suits are idiots for changing it. If that is Fishburne, I'm bloody well impressed. Doesn't mean I'm happy, just means I'm impressed. I still think Fox is treating Doug like ****.

Well I figured thats whats happening, but its still too skrully for me. I mean Im not *****ing, just i hope it comes off well in the movie... using two powers in conjunction.

Love it. I just hope the movie lives up to it.

Although that whole switching powers thing seemed like an attempt to exploit the fact that people liked Evans the most in the 1st movie (could it have something to do with the fact that he was the most faithfully translated of the characters? I dunno...) at the expense of the other 3.

And once again......please no Galactus cloud!!!!

I'm not the best to give a review of any trailer....

But...

1). I thought it was really good at showing the awesome CGI, and what I saw was awesome, but if things go as the novel says....some is not finished.

2). Everyone looks great.

3). Thought the switching of powers part was funny.....which I thought it would be after reading the novel...

4). Yes, that is Doug's voice, and after hearing it......lets just say I am glad they are giving LF a chance.....I think he will do a wonderful job. I wanted a much deeper sounding voice, with alittle less melody to it than what I heard in t he trailer....I think LF can do that.


Overall......B+.....

I guess I'm in the minority. I was a little letdown. I don't expect FF to be a dark, angst movie like X-men or even Spider-man, but the whole switching powers joke didn't do anything for me. I liked the Surfer, but I wish we could have seen more of the FF doing their thing.

But did anyone catch Galactus in the beginning? It's right after the Marvel logo.

I was hoping the switching powers thing would grow on me... but I really think its a bad move. "their DNA was fundamentally altered" according to the first movie, it doesn't make sense that jonny can switch powers in a matter of seconds when their powers evolved slowly in the first movie.

That's not Galactus, that's the wake of the Surfer as he's entering Earth's atmosphere.

Does it look like an improvement over the first film? Absolutely. And that's really all I can ask from Tim Story and company at this point, because it was evident by their first effort that this franchise should be in FAR better hands.

I'm not overly impressed by the effects on the Surfer just yet, but I like Fishbourne's voice and I think they'll do the character justice enough. Not too thrilled about Alba's look (in some shots she almost looks like a plastic doll come to life; and no that's not a damn compliment). But Evans and Chiklis look strong in their respective roles once again, and I like what I've seen from Reed this time around.

I'll be there opening weekend, and while I don't expect the epic comic book flick to end all comic book flicks, I do expect a better effort this time around that doesn't rape the Fantastic Four property.

I like how the Surfer has pupils but they're grey on silver. Cool effect.
Some large Avvy's/GIFS would be nice.

Yeah, that's definitely LF's voice.

The trailer was pretty good. Looks much better than the original, and I'm sure it'll be a whole lot of fun. I want to see what they do with Galactus finally.

Did anyone catch that the trailer says something to the affect of, " the powers that made them (FF) great will give rise to a new power".

I've had a theory for a while they were going to tie the FF cosmic storm origin into this story. Maybe the red cloud from last movie was Galactus' purple cloud harbringer from this film?

After seeing the full trailer, I think the Film is going to be great

The power switching thing is kinda weird but I'm interested to see how it plays out

Seeing Dr.Doom makes me very excited
