WOW....that was mind-blowing!
Surfer is magnificent, in his freaking full glory, the greatest herald, and the pride of Galactus! WOW...that was just absolutely awesome.
Jones/Fishburne are really going to make this film ALL about Surfer, and the audiences are going to go bonkers over this character...can we say origin spinoff? Some people are NEVER going to be happy with anything, so I'm glad FOX and Story took the constructive and dumped most of the garbage compliants.
I acutally like the idea of Surfer disrupting the FF's powers. At his very core, Norrin was transformed into a cosmic creature, able to manipulate and direct and disrupt cosmic energy. I'm sure by the end, the FF will be reset, but it was their first encounter with such a powerful manipulator of cosmic energy...makes perfect sense to me...if you're a manipulator of fire, chances are, you'll not perform so well against a more powerful fire manipulator.
I hope we get just a VERY VERY brief glimpse of Galactus at the end, and FF realize that Surfer was just the very tip of a VERY large iceberg. Nuff said, FF:ROTS looks to be a smash, especially given the less than stellar first film.
