So we now know who's playing Sif. But no one's talking about the other bit of news in the recent release. That being who's Colm Feore gonna play? All we know so far is that it's a villain(obviously not Loki). I loved him in Storm of the Century but that's the only thing I've seen him in that I liked. Someone on another thread mentioned Maleketh as a possibility. Having wiki-ed the character, I could see that happening.

Yeah there's not a glut of possibilities for this one. There's really only Malekith or possibly Loki's frost giant father.

Malekith is the most likely, logical choice for Colm Feore to play, as he was a villain in the first draft of the script. But if you want a more out-there suggestion, what if we have a Red Skull cameo to tie in to Captain America's release a couple of months later?

I dunno if Colm Feore is playing the Red Skull - it's just a guess, and a second-choice guess after Malekith at that. But it would be inspired casting on Marvel's part, I must say. While my head says Malekith, I think my heart says Red Skull.

I guess the answer to the "they wouldn't announce it" point is they didn't announce it. Why tell us who everyone else is playing, but the identity of the secondary villain is "shrouded in mystery"?

Anything's possible. Jane Foster wasn't in the first draft and now she's apparently one of the leads

He could be pretty much anyone. I mean, Zarrko's just a normal dude and, although he's fat in the comics, they wouldn't necessarily have to keep that look in the movie. Malekith is being suggested a lot because Malekith is tall and lanky like Feore, but who knows what Branagh will decide he wants the characters to look like? It's not like they're huge characters that demand a level of respect for their comic portrayals. Lex Luthor had hair in the Donner Superman films, after all.

Colm Feore? No disrespect to the guy, but he's bad luck for just about every big budget movie he's in.
