Since you know Kenneth personally, could you ask him for me what kind of music he's into? :cwink:

Smartass. No, I dont know him personally, but I know him well enough as a director to get a pretty good idea of how he works. For f*** sake, he directs Shakespeare! In Hamlet, he managed to get Charlton Heston, Julie Christie, Robin Williams, Kate Winslet, Judi Dench, Richard Attenborough and various other talented actors (thats right, actors). I think he can get a great leading man for the role of Thor.

If you know him well enough as a director, tell me about the opening scene in HENRY V.

Describe it for me.

I seriously doubt you've even seen the movie from reading your post.

I'm getting tired of hearing people say "Branagh ONLY directs Shakespeare".

The man likes ALOT of genres.

Never seen Henry V. Sorry.

But I appreciate the *****ey attitude. It really helps.

And i'm getting sick of you being a total prick to everyone on this board.

"Once again you prove to me how young and juvenile you are.

In 20 years, you'll understand how hard it is to have a conversation with a child.

They always end up talking about "Balls" and other male genitalia as soon as they feel threatened in a discussion :whatever: "

You realise you actually have no idea how old I am, and you're probably younger than me anyway. Who cares if I say balls? Everyone ****ing says balls! George Carline was still using balls at the age of 70! Whats juvenile and immature is having unrealistic visions of your own intellect. Wow, you've seen Henry V.... Lets give you a medal. I totally respect your casting ideas now....

And for the record, people wouldn't have a go at you if you were'nt so petty and *****y in you're comments. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but you seem to think you're opinion reigns supreme. And I know that this post is pointless because all you'll do is reply with some nonsense, snide remark, then point out one petty flaw (like a spelling error, who cares if he spelt origin wrong) and think you've one the argument. What you don't realise is that as long as you post the way you do, and treat people like idiots (in the middle of intelligent discussion) just because you have an inferiority complex.

And one last thing...

BALLS! BALLS BALLS BALLS BALLS! Oh no, I said Balls! Now my opinion can no longer be valid, because I have a sense of humour... stick to wrestling, little man.

Just to be clear, you're talking to snikt, yes?

Lol, who else would I be talking to? He's the only trash talker in this forum :woot:

No, I'm sick of Snikt... he clearly has nothing better to do... lets talk Thor...
I watched LOTR: Fellowship of the Ring the other day, and Sean Bean would have been sweet for Thor... Not sure what age they're going for though. I assume alot younger. I always get worried when they cast a movie like this, and all the rumours start coming out about who has auditioned, and not one of them suits Thor... Like with Iron Man, when Nicholas Cage and Tom Cruise were both rumoured as Tony Stark......
*shudder*

For me, it really depends on what they are going for.

If they want someone 6'3" & up then Alexander Skarsgard is my choice.

If they are doing the Donald Blake type thing in Avengers (or Thor 2), where the actor will be LOTR'd up in height, while being regular height with a cane, bending down for Blake, needing someone around 6'1", then I am leaning toward Urban (or even McKidd) as the up & comer and Butler as the A-lister.

I'm getting tired of hearing people say "Branagh ONLY directs Shakespeare".

Its no more stupid than you saying (and Im parphrasing) "Kevin Nash hasnt shown he can act, but I KNOW he can act," without backing it up with anything other than the fact that you have talked to him a few times. As well as calling him a liar saying that his knees are not as bad as you says or that. Or referring to his love of cinema and the effort put into his painfully melodramatic wrestling personas as reasons he should be starring in Thor ignoring everyone elses logical suggestions of real actors with real experience because they arnt big enough for your incredibly skewed liking that you base on the actual comic illustrations infamous for blowing anatomy completely out of proportion.

Yeah, you MUST be under 21.

You just wrote a PARAGRAPH with no real point to prove.

Congratulate yourself.

:facepalm

You're being confrontational for no valid reason.

I think Nash would be great, you don't.

Its that simple.

I've seen Nash act, you've seen him wrestle.

Its that simple.

where did you see him act?

and i am not being confrontational for no reason. You being annoyed by people making an assumption that Branagh directs shakespeare almost completely mirrors everyone being annoyed by your I know Kevin Nash can act. The only exception is there is proof to back up the claim about BRanagh. He has branched out in the past but his directorial efforts have been primarily adaptations of plays, musicals, and Frankenstein (a commonly considerd peice of classic literature) while Kevin Nash has basically played characters that might have well been credited as Guy with Muscles #2 in a few movies.

Nash was the Russian Thomas Jane killed in punisher and oh yeah he was in DOA yeah gr8 films hahahah Nash is well into his 40's with gray hair has health issues that has even stopped him from wrestling not to mention he has had like 5 knee surgeries

Actually, its the other way around.

Many people here have shown a great deal of hostility towards me for suggesting Nash as Thor.

Just read through the thread.

*Your signature still has "ORIGINS" spelled wrong

Dude... your the one who has started all the hostility in this thread just becuase EVERYONE else agrees that Nash is a crappy actor and u don't Also wat does my Sig have to do with this conversation? It doesn't.... its mispelled o well

Snikt, the fact that you completely missed the whole point of my last post just proves everything I said about you. Now you're just looking really sad as the only one in an online discussion who does'nt actually seem to want to discuss anything. All you seem to want to do is preach, and tell people, rather than listen. It explains alot about you, and things make alot more sense now.

Everyone else on the board, who thinks we should just outright ignore everything Snikt has to say, until he actually has something to contribute that actually adds to a conversation, rather than shut it down or kill it. I only go on these discussion boards to have conversations. If I wanted irrational and illogical arguments, I'd just go to my mother-laws-house.

Who's with me?

JUST IGNORE HIM AND CARRY ON WITH THE TOPIC PLEASE!!

Garrett Hedlund starred in Troy. He played Patroclus. Marvel wants a young Thor? There you Go.

As for Loki Gaspard Ulliel. If you saw Hannibal Rising you'd agree 100%. I don't want to go through the trouble of posting their pics so you can look yoursevls if curious.

I'd love to see Christopher Eccleston as Loki... he would be fantastic, I think. I always thought he would make a good Joker too.

I just want to see Skars fillout a bit, and come in with a linebackers neck... He has the overall look and is a very talented up-and-coming actor. He is rock solid for the part... He just needs to fill in a bit. He is lean, but looks pretty athletic, so he should be able to amp up his physique.

AlexSkars is great on GK. I also watched a couple of episodes of True Blood to see him with the longer hair, but he wasn't in either of the 2 episodes. This show sucks balls. So i think I'm done looking for him. I'll wait for more pics to come out or a youtube clip.
