You dont have to be a Actor like Robert DeNiro to play Thor on the big Screen,so i would be fine with Rogers in the Main Role ,he has the Perfect Physics and enough acting talent to deliver the Thor typical One Liners.
But an Actor in the class of Edward Norton is needed when it comes to the Role of Donald Blake.

I would think Thor would be the harder role deserving of the better actor, personally. Thor's a much more unusual character. Blake's just a normal medical student/doctor.

Dunno. I think Season 2 starting shooting in January of this year and is still shooting, but I also think it was delayed some by all of the strikes.

He didn't mention Thor by name but it's fairly clear that the question he was posed was whether or not Huddleston had screentested for Thor and he answered "yes"

Well...Alex is filming a film called Puss in Sweden with his brother Gustaf in August...and it was apparently moved to August. So I think that indicates that Alex will be at Comic Con for True Blood.

True Blood hasn't been picked up for Season 3 and we have no clue when it will actually film in 2010...but yeah...I'd imagine the timing would be similar to S2...but I really have no clue. I totally don't think Alex is up for the role anymore. He's totally committed to True Blood and unless filming for one or the other shifts...it's a big conflict.

Well just to remind Skarsgard supporters... I think we all remember the reports of Katie Holmes having lunch with Nolan several months before TDK started shooting. I wouldn't put much stock into having lunch... frankly I think this True Blood scheduling conflict will be the dagger for Skars. Not to get pessimistic, but most of us have been prepared to move on, which is a start. Some clingers, however, may be seriously disappointed, but it certainly ain't the end of the world. I think I'd rather go Hartnett and Skars then those two guys up there though. Two relative unknowns in the leads, even though people may be familiar with Hunnam (which I doubt the majority are), is a bad idea IMO. Even with Portman, I would MUCH prefer they get a name for Loki.

It says on imdb that Josh Hartnett is rumored to be Loki. I prefer the dude in your post though.

Eh, not a bad cast. I mean, I wouldn't mind it if they were the actual cast. Natalie Portman's the only one I actively dislike there, and if I could enjoy the Spider-Man movies with Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane, I can take Portman as Sif.
