Aren't you a Thor fan? Anyway, I enjoyed it to a degree. I just don't understand how Hulk can fight and beat Sentry, Thor, all the freakin X-men, Juggernaut, and their moms, but can't beat Wolverine. Doesn't make sense.

Marvel would have Wolverine beat the Spectre. Luckily they don't own the Spectre.

Oh and yea Hulk vs Thor sucked but I knew it would.

I knew Thor would lose but I didn't know he would lose so badly. I've gotten used to Thor getting his ass kicked by the Hulk. If you're a Thor fan for long enough, I think you have to. But the extent to which HvT went was just sad.

I was gonna suggest those cow-headed things from Time Bandits for Beta Ray Bill.

But I think SJP is a much more solid suggestion...

For Lady Sif, I'll choose Leighton Meester. She's about the same age as Hemsworth and she's very strong, very powerful I think. I'm completely stumped by Balder though. Does anyone have any suggestions? In Norse mythology he was assoicated with light so I would probably choose Mitch Hewer

No, in all seriousness; as much as I wanted Skars as Thor, if it turned out there was someone better for the role - then surely that's the way to go.

I mean, as fans, we all want to see Thor represented as best as he can be, right?

Yeah because acting has nothing to do with it or the fact that they were actually blown away by his performance. That's got nothing to do with it.

If it were truly an issue of age, they wouldn't have let Skars screen test in costume like they did with guys like Hunnam and Hemsworth

Skars got very far in the audition process and ultimately lost the part

I still would have loved to have Skars as Thor and get Hemsworth as Cap (even if he's not american) That would have been my choice. I am not against Hems as Thor... If he blew away the producers and Director and the competition...then he must be the right choice.

Agree. I trust the casters if they say Chris blew them away in his audition, but to me as soon as I saw him I thought "Thats Captain America". Skarsgaard would look more like Thor imo, but i'm sure Hemsworth will be fine.
