Oeming seems to be following in the footsteps of Thomas, actually. Blood Oath was basically a tour of other mythologies, several of which Thomas introduced earlier in Thor's comic. He was responsible for the Egyptian gods' arc back in the 240s and, starting with the 270s, he's delving into the Ragnarok myth and he'll soon adapt various other Norse stories as things Odin's sentient eye tells Thor. I can't wait!

Haha, yeah, I'd love to see him have a nice, lengthy run on Thor. We'll probably have to wait at least a couple more months to see who's taking over after Gillen, though.
