It had nothing to do with getting bigger. Overeem just took PEDs to enhance his abilities. This title shot was sort of a big deal to his career so he was probably seeking any advantage he could.

Del Rosario, Werdum, Velasquez, Dos Santos, Nelson, Mir, Silva, Carwin and Overeem (pre-bust). That sounds like a stacked division to me.

8 fighters?! That's stacked?! Go look at the lightweight or welterweight divisions. Those are STACKED! When you just have 8 fighters, you can get through the match-ups pretty quickly, and then have to rematch fighters. Dos Santos has beaten Werdum, Velasquez, Nelson, and Carwin. And might I add, easily.

They also have Barnett, Cormier and Kharitonov at Strikeforce.

Hunt isn't a horrible fighter either. He's a decent striker with above average KO power and a strong chin. Dos Santos won't be seeking a ground war anyways.

Overeem got busted. No TRT story is going to work on the athletic commission. Marquardt provided significant evidence, but I doubt Alistair will do the same. Overeem is just desperately seeking for a loophole to stay in the UFC.

I think UFC is risking too much by trying to hedge their bet on this hearing. I think they just need to change the fight now. 4/24 is cutting it too close.

That's how Ronda got noticed. She used the Chael Sonnen method of **** talking to get some attention her way. If this new chick wants to do the same I guess Ronda sort of deserves it. I'm not a fan of that style of **** talking though. It was funny at first, but now it's gotten old quickly.

I don't like how condescending she is towards Rousey acting like Rousey is NOT any good and that she isn't an Olympic medalist for the US just like Miller.

Rousey has submitted all of her opponents and the last one was the champ.

what always makes me laugh is when girls like this new chick claim rousey took the easy route LOL

taking on the then #1 145 pound champion in Tate who had 14 pro fights going into Title fight with Ronda and in just Ronda's 5th pro fight with less than a year of pro mma experience

to me that sounds like the hard route

an easy route is padding your record on the independent mma circuit

Project, I think you make an interesting point. It's one thing to pad your record with cans instead of launching basically as a rookie on the biggest stage against extremely more experienced fighters rather than lesser competition.

but yeah peope will bash her out of pure jealousy but she certainly took the harder route imo

like Ronda said "these girls are mad because i am smarter than them"

she took a formula perfected in men's mma by guy like chael and brought it to woman's mma

also i look at quality over quantity

i have seen plenty guys come in ufc and get trashed but they had a good 10-0 undefeated record - extremely padded

Easy win, for Stann here against Sakara. When was the last time Sakara fought?! Wish they would've given Stann, Munoz. That would've been a good fight to see if Stann is improving in his wrestling.

I can't stand Jon Jones. That guy radiates of arrogance but he desperately tries to hide it underneath his 'humbleness'. I personally believe he needs a big slice of humble pie but he's not going to get it with Evans.

Rashad is too small and his wrestling takedowns have appeared to decline.
