i'll be heading to Vegas to see UFC 156 cageside. Then I will likely be at UFC 157 for Rousey/Kaufman and Hendo/Machida as well.

And for that, I hate you. HAHA! Just kidding. What do you do exactly?!

CrypticOne, I'm a part-time reporter and I get credentialed for the UFC events.

It took a while, but UFC started approving us in 2011.

Bellator on Spike. I really hope Amoussou beats Askren's boring ass down.

I'll see if it's on XBL.

I'm glad Ben was finally able to finish somebody tho. I can appreciate him if he finishes opponents more often

LOL too bad for the Askren haters. I don't see anyone beating him for a while. No one at welterweight in Bellator really has a skillset to overcome his wrestling abilities.

I'd like to see Askren take on Johny Hendricks. See how that turns out.

Good riddance to Rampage, enjoy trying to be a free agent. Great performance by Glover Teixeira.

DJ won round 4 but listening to commentating, you'd think he was dominating the fight. I think Dodson won the first three rounds.

Nah. DJ is a technical cardio beast. I don't think anybody at that weight can keep up w/him.

Funny, I thought Dodson clearly won the first three rounds and DJ won the last two. He does have good cardio but he lost the first couple of rounds. You can't give a guy a fight due to his past history.

Ok we agree on that. But how did one judge have him winning by 3-4 points?

Johnson won it 3 rounds to 2. Judges are stupid, that's just the way it is.

Nasty finish from the Lamas/Koch fight. I hope Koch's eye is OK.

I notice they wouldnt show Koch at all. I thought his skull was broken. One of the nastiest finishes I've ever seen.

Yeah, OK to watch Russian Roulette on Fox, but we can't see Koch's bloody face.

Really lost to Heiron tho. Judges ****ed that one up

That was a good event. I liked all the televised fights besides the one with Guida and Hioki. Hioki should have won that because Guida didn't do anything on top. I used to love Guida, but his past two fights he's focused more on moving instead of being effectively aggressive. Idiots would say it's Greg Jackson, but Greg Jackson isn't the evil lay and pray teacher people think. Guida is just so caught up in bouncing around and having a lot of energy that he's doing nothing these past two fights. I hope he could get back to being exciting like in the past.

I was also impressed a little that Rampage didn't just throw the same hook and uppercuts all night. He threw better combinations this time and moved his head. Too bad Glover is better and Rampage wasn't in shape to go too long. Some people are giving Glover ****, but it's super hard to finish Rampage. I look forward to seeing what he'll do in the future.

Rampage has always had good boxing but that's not what he needed to work on for this fight it was his wrestling, his takedowns, and his takedown defense and his kicks.

He trained in Wolf's Lair in England which was a terrible choice. Glover Teixeira trains in Southern California in the Pit with much tougher dudes. Quality of training and sparring partners is not as good in England.

Rampage's boxing has definitely been good in the past, but he fell into the same pattern that made him too predictable. I'm glad he looks better, but age is catching up to him.

He did look in better shape than usual and he threw some different combinations, but his cardio still wasn't there. That could be age, but at the same time he's never been disciplined enough with his diet and training. He shows up to camp at the start weighing 250 lbs. to 260 lbs.

He started as a wrestler, and yet guys can now take him down at will. He used to be known for his wrestling and his slams which he completely stopped using. The guys he trains with focus on his striking and his boxing and his slams, takedown defense, and wrestling.
