I dont get why Carey stopped writing Iceman, i thought he wrote an awesome Bobby plus i thought he was one of his favorite characters??
I dont get it either, especially since Bobby is a free agent. Im surprised he hasnt popped up on any of these rotating teams of his

btw, anyone know who the girl is with the New Mutants on that cover in the bottom left? She's the only one I cant identify. Is that intended to be Dust?

thats my guess, of course she's not a New Mutant in any capacity (unless somethings changed recently...).

Carey even seemed to be setting more stuff up for Bobby during the Manifest Destiny miniseries. Even if I don't particularly care for Mystique's whole "I'll **** you until you love me" relationship with Bobby, it was something.

And yeah, that girl definitely looks like Dust without her niqab.

I'd have to say Dust too, since that's what I'm assuming is what is coming from her hand.

Magma's costume at least looks interesting.

Gambit, where art thou? Will this be another tease like the X-men relaunch? :(

Check the Age of X thread, there's more info about him in this up there.

Yeah, but that doesn't mean he'll have a big part. He was the official dead head carrier in X-Men. Big whoop. :(

I think he'll be involved more later on, they've teased him to much to be more then wallpaper.

Even Rogue has barely showed up yet, and we know that Carey loves her.

sooo..every 15 years we are gonna get an alt-verse x-men story?

I'm just curious as to which character will cross over into the 616 universe. Days of Future's Past gave us Rachel. Age of Apocalypse gave us Nate and Dark Beast. Who will Age of X leave us with?

they could bring age of x chamber over...since he had his original powers n all

Yeah, how the hell does that even work? Wanda wacky-tacky spell hit the multiverse as well. Alternate versions of characters who lost their powers should still be powerless.

Ha I remember Sugarman I'm guessing that characters dead or something.

They should just re-power 616 Chamber and bring him back. Hell he could hook up with Husk again.

Claremont put that if I remember and then Beast said in a later comic there were no new mutant births in the multiverse now the thing with different timelines/universes is that there are sutble differences so Jubliee and Chamber were not affected. I could be wrong but I think that Beast suggested that the wave affected births unlike 616 where it orginated from where it de-powered and stopped mutant births until Hope. Sorry I cannot remember when he scaned the multiverse and sorry if again it stated that most mutants in the multiverse lost their powers.

Man I love Dazzler's AoX look. That should make its way to 616

Oh.

I just found a ridiculously simple way to give a bunch of 616 characters their powers back, then. They could use the multiverse transporter thingy from She-Hulk's old comic. The powerless versions of characters from Earth-Alpha use it to gain the powers of their 616 counterparts as soon as they come to 616. If the X-Club could borrow that device and find a universe where certain characters still have their powers...

Eh, nevermind. It's too simple, and nobody ever uses the same method of regaining their powers twice. I mean, Charles knows good and well that making contact with the M'Kraan Crystal will give you your powers back, but be damned if he's mentioned that to anyone.

This Gambit/Death, right?

Are they going to say that Death is the one hiding? Is he the cause of Age of X?

How about the fact that it looks like Rogue is always standing in the wind? Her hair and scarf never stop flapping around.

I noticed Blindfold had the same sort of scarf that is equally busy. :p I can safely say that any scarf I've ever worn never needed a sedative.
