Kristen Bell would have easily been my number one choice had this deal happened 6 years ago.

Kristen Bell also would have been good if they could have started the MCU FF a few years ago or right now.

Eh, then you’d get Dax Shepard as Reed, and I’m not sure how that’d work out. I’m still heartbroken Bell never got to be Harley Quinn.

Why on earth would he be Reed? The real life spouse of an actor doesn't have to play the other half of Reed or Sue. People like Krasinksi and Blunt in the roles, but it doesn't have to be that pairing. One of them can get the part while someone else has the other role and it'd be fine.

It’s a prank, bro!

When will you all finally see the genius of Oscar Isaac as Doom?

Fantastic Four: a one man show starring Oscar Isaac.

Y’know he could do it.

I declare reed richards an... Ooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuuttttttttttttlllllllllllllllllllllaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!

I think for Reed Marvel would probably cast John Krasinski except he would ask for too much money or Chris Pine except he had just been in DCCU Wonder Woman. Joseph Gordon-Levitt probably fits best in terms of looks, general demeanor/likely ability to play the personality and being prominent but not too prominent.

John Krasinski isn't exactly a big star, so he shouldn't be asking for so much.

Not only would Krasinski not ask for much, he'd probably wanna direct the damn thing, which I'd ok.

Fulfill my fantasy dream casting of Mads Mikkelsen as Doom...BORN to be that character...I really don't care if he was "Kaecillius" or not..he was wasted in that role...Mads even said he would be willing to try Doom in a previous interview....

Make it happen!!!!

Imagine that accent coming out of the comic book accurate armor

HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY!

And i don't care if you don't care if he is Kaecillus or not. If they are doing Doom there would be at least a moment that he won't have his armor on that he will look like Mads. That will confuse the hell out of people. I care about continuity and so do a lot of people.

Not that I think Mads would be bad, I just don't think it will happen. It's not like he was in a Matt Damon sized role, he was a main villain already.

I got it. Doctor Doom is Rufus Sewell:

he's a classically trained actor who has played MacBeth, Fortinbras, Charles II, and Agamemnon. He can also do a German accent, if y'all aren't dead-set on Doom having a Transylvanian accent. When I was little I thought Latveria was in the Baltic anyway. :oldrazz:

I care about continuity too...have we forgotten that I am sure a lot of people saw Chris Evans and said oh he was Human Torch...now he is captain america???

and your tone could use some work...Doom is my specialty...I have been obsessed with Victor Von Doom for nearly 3 decades now so I am merely stating my opinion...Doom's face shouldn't be expose to the public at all once that mask goes on....the fear of the unknown is scarier...Mikkelsen's voice is perfect for Doom...you can always cast someone else to be Victor....

Different universes. That is no different than Michelle Pfeifer playing Janet Van Dyne and Selina Kyle or Michael Keaton playing Vulture and Batman. Mads already has been an established MCU villain, so it's more of an issue. Now we're dealing with the same continuity. If it is a small part, that's one thing. But this is closer to having Chris Evans suddenly play Reed Richards.

That is true....but there are some people who still don't understand the different between Fox Marvel/Marvel Studios...they see the Marvel logo and automatically lump them together....I can't tell you how many people over the years I have had to correct thinking that Wolverine would meet up with Iron man etc

Having never seen Fan4stic... they cast an actress who was 31 during filming as Sue, four years older than Johnny AND REED.
Jamie Bell also seems too reserved for Ben Grimm, whose wacky bellicose dialogue made me think his "type" in the military must have been the manic Drill Sergeant.

There's still a huge amount of confusion. I know some people who think the Fox movies are part of the MCU and I know others who don't even have a clue X-Men, FF were ever in the same comic-book world as Iron Man, Captain America etc.

I have a friend who is a big fan of Marvel films, but doesn't know anything about the comic books or the rights. When the deal was first announced, I told her that the FF and X-Men would be joining the MCU, and she was completely perplexed. I remember her asking: "Wait? How would that work? Will the Fantastic Four be Avengers?"

The mainstream audience sometimes doesn’t even know which characters belong to which brand, let alone which Marvel characters belong to which corporation.

I still remember my folks asking me after the first Avengers came out: “How come Batman is not in Avengers, isn’t he Marvel?” lol.

It's confusing for people that don't follow this ****. Had to give my dad a crash course on why the FF and xpeople weren't in Infinity War.
