Can you add any context to that? Do they list things based on real info. or are they just picking up on the “Solve Everything” info that’s being reported?
I believe Production Weekly is reliable.

Yeah, I love that look for Reed. No idea how he is as an actor.

He definitely has a great look for Reed. I just wonder if he can carry a movie as a lead? He's good on iZombie but the question is, does that translate to movie talent?

Yeah that's what I wonder too, as all of the four need to be strong actors.

If Marvel ever casts him then they would believe that he's good enough and their track record is great. We'll just have to wait and see who Marvel casts for the team.

I like the IDEA of Jones... But as a fit for the MCU and doing the FF in a way that is a strong crowd pleaser in the fullest four quad way possible... I don't know.

My feeling would be the script would have to be strong but breezy fun along with Feige's pressure to ensure an accessible end product would be necessary for Jones to make an FF for the masses.

I am obsessed with this

With Isaac out of the running, Andre Holland is my new favorite choice for Reed. But I loved Kohli on Bly Manor and heard great things about his other work, and he definitely seems the type of actor Marvel tends to look at for projects like this. I certainly like him more as Reed than the other dominating fancast that shall not be named.

The Duncan Jones rumor would be cool with me if true.

JGL is having another good career year, and he's back on my shortlist for Reed.

I'll know what my interests in an MCU FF film announced with Impy appearing will be...

Zero.

I'm sorry but... As it stands right now an MCU Impy I would probably find insufferable.

Plus... They got Deadpool, She-Hulk is coming sooner than later and even Howard The Duck has shown his webbed feet in the MCU... They got metacommentary fourth wall breakers out the yin/yang.

Wonder if the MCU will ever adapt this guyView attachment 39883
Before Guardians, I would say the chances of seeing him were slim to none, but the MCU has gotten weirder since it started. You already have stuff like a talking raccoon and walking tree in the MCU so it wouldn’t be farfetched for a silly character like Impossible Man to appear - at least in a blink-and-you-miss it type cameo where he has a few lines similar to Howard The Duck.

He definitely has a much better chance of being in either an FF or GOTG film than, say, Bat-Mite ever appearing in a live action Batman movie. That’s for sure.

We’ve seen a sci-fi/fantasy trope of super-powerful but child-like characters (Tremaine in the original Star Trek, Q in The Next Generation, Mr. Mxyzptlk in Superman etc. etc.). He’d have to be tweaked some to work without being annoying (as he was in the comics), but I can imagine a talented writer and director pulling it off.

We've also seen the trump trope of powerful but child-like characters in real life. :o

Saw WGTC peddling that a few days ago. Way too much controversy around her for that to happen.

Yeah. Is her agent lobbying for it? Probably. Does she have a snowball’s chance in hell of getting it? Nah.

What’s encouraging is we’re hearing a lot of rumors, so the studio may be making calls and developing lists.

I was saying it in another thread but I hope Anne Hathaway gets considered for Invisible Woman.

Amber Heard is a good-looking woman but just because you look good doesn’t mean you can act good, and nothing I’ve seen from Ms. Heard has convinced me that she’d be good in the role. I think if there is any modicum of truth to that rumor; it’s really more of a case of Marvel hearing her out. I seriously doubt Marvel has any interest in casting her in any major role, let alone an iconic role like Sue. Even if you were to ignore the fact she’s been embroiled in a scandal, I don’t think Kevin Feige is a fan of Amber Heard at all. He’s familiar with her since he’s seen Aquaman and liked it, but I suspect he liked the movie despite the fact Heard was, y’know, trying to act. Extra emphasis on the word ‘trying’.

Don’t want to be mean, but strong heck no to her as Invisible Woman. Looks-wise, she fits the fill. Acting wise? Nope.

I wouldn't be surprised, really. Depends on what route they go with Sue. If it's the actress route then maybe, but I can't see Heard as a scientist.
