well its confirmed that Weta will do the VFX and the costumes, so yes on both

in fact word is that Weta has finished initial designs on the hero costumes. its just the question of when we could take a peek.

Awesome(although i prefer ILM). I new they were on the costumes but i didn't know they were on all the VFX.

I heard Batman's suit is badass, which will make a nice change.

I'm curious, are the OMAC designs in anyway related to the NWO?, I mean, the whole eye concept makes it pretty obvious. Creepy as hell, just like the Chambers St. station on the NYC subway.

The skin's gonna take some work to constantly color shift and not look like an effect. They have to keep it somewhat human but make sure you keep the single eye in the middle of the head to show that it's not looking at the world through the human's eye but something else. Giving it two eyes would make it seem less like the human is trapped in there.

After seeing the industry's successes with films like "Total Recall", "Terminator 2" and "The Matrix" I don't see where that would be a problem.

Straight from the OMAC project, IMO. Although if they simplify it for budget reasons (like making them less fluid-looking), I'd be OK with that.

Eh, they won't really need to change too much. They'll probably alter the primary colour about more so it looks like a metallic silver.

yea they need to be on the same level as the transformers CGI. If they're even slightly cartoony or cheap looking there would be no saving this movie

we need pics. NOW. until we start seeing pics of how supposedly bad@$$ these suits are... fans are gonna keep ragging on JLA, and im real tired of hearing negativity about JLA. fans should just be happy that we're getting comic books movies at all, much less DC Comics considering there sordid track record
