Im my version you didn't see Cyclops die and neither did you see it in the Flashback scene where Wolverine tries to comfort Jean. You only see a Flashback of his eyes lit up and then it goes all bright.

Jean presumes she killed him ... he might just live. I dunno , lets hope for the best

Maybe they're still deciding which version to use..

All this time I was under the impression Magneto playing chess was before the credits, I swear I've read reviews so far that had that scene as well as the Xavier end credits scene?

But the 3rd ending, has to be Cyclops. Just has to be..

We'll know which they picked on May 26th, or hell, maybe it'l be RANDOM?! Imagine that, depending on where you go you could get one of three surprise endings, all of them canon!

I can't believe that you're siding with him. After all that talk about not getting the phoenix rising out of the water and storm tidal wave that were left out.

Yeah but he has a point, they could still be in the final version without hugely altering the running time! I don't get your point, tainted was being positive imo. I still expect to see the Storm wave and possibly a glimpse of the DR sentinel leg among other SMALL touchups in the theatrical cut.
Remember aswell, according to PWR the movie was 95 mins long! That's the press screening. SHH has the movie clocked at 97mins 30secs which would match the official full running time of 103mins 53secs. There's still room for minor additions imo.

The one guy on IMDb who claims to have seen a screening, which I think is possible he has, said that you see Cyclops in a hospital bed at the end of the movie...

I don't think we should get too worked up over the running time. After all, it has been confirmed that there are multiple alternate endings.

PWR's answer to my running time question...

I timed it at being about 95 mins, including credits... but I see that the official time is 103 mins... so I guess i could of been off by that much.. or maybe there are 2 or 3 mins of added scenes in the official release which were not in the press screening!
