On Reading Reviews: A Different Vision for Us?

I think you guys should just be hoping this estimated 97 mins etc serves this part of the story well thats all.

Well, either you take a stopwatch into the movie, or you sit back and watch it and judge it...

Remember, it does have an energetic pace... Does that count as 'rushed' if it's fast-moving?

Right. That's why the run times don't really matter to me that much other than to confirm there are different versions. As long as the movie is good and has a good story, I won't really care about the run time when I see it. :D

Not in my mind, and I don't quite get the use of the word "rushed." I would rather have fast-paced over plodding ANY DAY!! I wanna be on the edge of my seat the whole time with my eyes popping out of my head like this  !! :D

Hmmm. I wonder what could be in that extra seven minutes. And Darkie clocked 110 minutes without credits, right? Storm22 you better be in charge of the contradicting times, with/without credits, because they confuse me. Can you sum it up?

PWR - (press screening) = 95mins with credits
90/91mins actual movie footage

Darkie - (mexican premiere) = approx. 120mins with credits
110mins actual movie footage

Official BBFC running time = 103mins 53secs
approx. 97mins actual movie footage

That's what I've got so far. Darkie and PWR are the only ones I know of who actually clocked the movie. Rohann who was also at the mexican premiere said the movie felt more like 2hrs than 90mins.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not really concerned with running time. I'm more concerned with what footage was omitted from the press screening and if we'll see that footage in the actual theatrical version!

Depends. If they wrote this movie like it always was supposed to end in all of this fast paced events and action, then itll work. If it feels forced, over edited and sloppy, it will be called "rushed" imo.

well honestly, no matter what the situation, we can SAFELY say that there is footage being added/taken away and its only GOOD news for the final version, imo. if the credits are indeed liek 5 minutes, then the 104 runtime isnt bad... i dont guess..

but the mexican press screenings seem liek a more final version, ala mystiques computerized voice. and there is still no official word from FOX about runtime, am i wrong?... so we just might see closer to 110(120) minutes come the 26th.

where did he say that?

I think you interpreted what Wolverini said as the fight being cut from the theatrical release and put on the dvd, I checked and he never actually said that.
