DB should use that in a promo at NWO!

some random thoughts:

dolph ziggler is finally winning me over
aj is ****ing hot
heath slater ****ing sucks but that one man southern rock band line is awesome
vince needs to let go of the jim ross feud
bobby roode is getting better and better but needs the hair back. with it he seemed like a 80's NWA guy
goat face really is a lame insult
don tony and kevin castle are my favorite wrestling related radio show

- The original plan before Randy Orton and Chris Jericho both got suspended was for Orton to defeat Dolph Ziggler at the No Way Out pay-per-view. Ziggler and Chris Jericho were scheduled to be Orton's summer foils leading to Orton getting a title shot against Sheamus at SummerSlam.

- Sources say one of the main reasons as to why Chris Jericho was suspended was for political reasons. Linda McMahon is running for office, and it is believed that the company suspended him out of concern over what people in the Connecticut media who don't watch wrestling would think if they read a TMZ story about WWE stars going to other countries and defacing flags.

- WWE will be re-booking future shows as a result of the broken foot that R-Truth suffered last week and Alberto Del Rio's concussion. Truth is expected to be out of action for several weeks and there is no word on his official return date as of this writing.

- WWE has an angle planned which involves Triple H appearing at the No Way Out pay-per-view to address his future. WWE hopes this move will add viewers to Raw the next night as opposed to shooting the angle on Raw hoping it will add buys to the PPV.

Monday's three-hour edition of WWE RAW scored a 3.2 rating with 4,622,000 viewers for the three hours that the show aired. The show scored a 3.45 rating and 4,981,000 viewers during its usual time slot. This is way up from the last few weeks.

The show did hours of 2.73, 3.34 and 3.55. Vince McMahon equals ratings!

As of June 8th after statements made to the court about the WWE computer network and how they policed it looking for evidence that the file former office worker Brian Wittenstein had dispersed confidential TNA information to anyone beyond John Laurinaitis, the temporary restraining order against WWE was officially dissolved.

Also filed on June 8th was a letter from WWE attorney Jerry McDevitt to TNA legal counsel Erika Blonquist, stating that he wanted to document several facts for the record before the case moved forward, He wrote the following:

"First, and as I advised you orally on the phone during our recent conference call, WWE has not solicited Ric Flair to leave TNA and enter into a contract with WWE. WWE has made no offer to Flair and has no intention of doing so.

Second, as I also advised you, WWE has not solicited any other current TNA talent to repudiate their contracts and enter into a contract with WWE. WWE has no interest in current TNA talent."

Cody Rhodes recently spoke to Marvel.com about getting advice from Dusty Rhodes, Avengers Vs. X-Men and more. Here are the highlights:

On Advice From His Father: The man gives me great tips every Wednesday, and every Saturday after he watches SmackDown, especially. It's funny, with my dad being tied so close to the WWE he's a bit biased. If he had his way, I'd be World champion now. So with that, I have to pull him in from that time-to-time. But he has this understanding of the inner workings of sports entertainment, better than almost anybody out there and that stuff is invaluable. And that's great for me to know; I feel like at 26, I have knowledge of the backstage inner workings of sports entertainment more than most.

On Avengers Vs. X-Men: Well, I think that right out of the gate, I love how epic this series is. I mean look at some of those matchups—you could make whole stories out of stuff like Red Hulk vs. Colossus! As a fan, it's so cool to see some of these dream fight matchups happening all in one place. I'm also a pretty big Spider-Man fan, so whenever I get to see him mix it up with the X-Men, it's a lot of fun.

On Sunday's PPV Bout With Christian: I've always had plans to move on to the World title, but in all honesty, I want to grab the Intercontinental title and become the first dual champion since The Ultimate Warrior. A lot of the top superstars of the WWE have something to stand on, like Randy Orton was the youngest World Heavyweight champion of all time, and Chris Jericho was the first Unified champion, he beat Steve Austin and The Rock in the same night. To cement a legacy, you can certainly do that by saying you were the first dual champion since Ultimate Warrior, and that'd be the goal for me.

During an interview yesterday conducted for 979Espn.com, WWE Champion CM Punk discussed a number of topics, including a funny story about Vince McMahon in Iraq. The following are quotes from the interview:

Punk Recalls His Favorite Vince Story:

We recently had the Hall of Fame before WrestleMania and Edge was being inducted this year. He told a story and neglected to add that I was apart of, shockingly enough. I had been on the road maybe five-six months, and I got the call spur of the moment, somebody is injured, somebody is suspended, whatever. Okay, cool, I'll pack my bags. So we went over to Iraq and the sleeping arrangements were hilarious.

I can't remember the general's name, it wasn't a five-star, because I don't know if there any current five-star generals, whatever the biggest general is was. He was in our room. It was me, JBL, Undertaker, Edge, and Vince McMahon all bunking. I was on the top bunk and JBL was on the bottom. To the right of me was Vince McMahon and I think let him have his own bunks so there was nobody above or below him. To my left was Undertaker and I think Edge was top bunk...

There was one giant bed in the room and we gave it to the general, it was his show. It was one of those moments where I'm just laying there awake thinking how bizarre my life is. I'm in a bunk bed with JBL and Vince McMahon is over here. All of a sudden I hear somebody let one off and then you hear (impersonates Vince MaMahon laughing). So then I'm sitting in a bunk bed and Vince McMahon is crapping his pants.

Has Punk Ever Sexted a Photo?:

(Punk laughed loudly). "I'm totally red. Who hasn't? How's that for honesty, ESPN. Yeah. I don't even think it was done in the context you are thinking of. It was a complete goof. I wasn't trying to be salacious. I wasn't trying to get in anybody's pants or anything. It was probably to my girlfriend and was more like an LOL, ha!"

Explanation of Vince's One-Legged Raw Joke
During Raw last night, Vince McMahon joked on-air about John Laurinaitis signing the "wrong one-legged wrestler."

Several readers have emailed in questioning the meaning behind the quip, and here's the story. Several years ago, Vince McMahon instructed John Laurinaitis to sign 19 year old Zach Gowen to a WWE deal. Instead of doing this, Laurinaitis mistakenly offered a contract to a different one-legged wrestler, who at the time was 37 years old.

Tom Prichard, who was working for WWE at the time, had already sent a plane ticket and contract to Zach Gowen, and when he arrived to WWE Headquarters, John Laurinaitis had no idea who he was. McMahon then scolded Laurinaitis for the mix-up, and for offering a wrestler in his late 30's a WWE contract.

More on Del Rio
WWE's story line explanation for Alberto Del Rio's concussion, as seen on Raw last night, was that he sustained it from The Great Khali's chops to the head on Smackdown this past Friday night. In reality, as we previously reported, Del Rio suffered the concussion when Sheamus slammed his head onto the metal WWE logo.

Jim Ross has posted a new blog over at JRsBarBQ.com. Below are some highlights:
Loved the return of Vader on Raw. Leon White aka Vader has lost a bunch of weight after getting north or the 400 pound mark and looked to be 330ish the last time that I saw him which was down in Tampa a few weeks ago. Vader's son is 'Jake Carter' who is one half of the Florida Tag Team Champions along with Cory Graves. For those asking I have no idea if Vader's appearance is a one off or if he will be back occasionally. I can't see him in full time but, again, I don't know.

Three hour TV shows are daunting and must be approached with extensive, long term planning and preparation. I enjoyed many elements of Monday Night Raw but watching ANY TV show for three hours isn't easy for me. Hopefully, three hour Monday Night Raw's will provide more multiple segment wrestling matches and not more talk. Yep, old school guy here...I like the wrestling, drama, athleticism, and personal issues better than most talk.

'Jim Ross' Trending on Twitter during Raw was a surprise. The Hornswoggle/Mr. McMahon skit impersonating yours truly must have struck a nerve with some folks. The Boss and 'Swoggle made for a comedic pair. Sell 'da Sauce!

McMahons = Ratings maybe they should bring back Stephanie and see what that will do.

Its good that Dolph was goign to move up and feud with a top guy but kinda meh on the fact that he was just a stepping stone to Jericho, who was just another steeping stone to Sheamus. Didn't mind Dolph losing but...

At least they were giving him something. Hopefully the negative of Orton and Jericho getting suspended turns into a positive and Dolph gets a push. Maybe even against Sheamus.

With so many top guys out hurt or suspended WWE MUST see the need to at least start grooming someone like Ziggler for a higher spot on the roster.

I really hate how Linda McMahons never ending political ambitions keep on affecting the show. Even Linda and Vince don't believe their line about Linda not being tied to WWE if they are so worried about how people perceive her when WWE runs a story.

- WWE has an angle planned which involves Triple H appearing at the No Way Out pay-per-view to address his future. WWE hopes this move will add viewers to Raw the next night as opposed to shooting the angle on Raw hoping it will add buys to the PPV.
I wonder if Brock will interrupt so it reignites their feud. Or maybe he makes the announcement and Brock shows up the next night on Raw.

I like how Cody is focused on making the midcard and its titles better for right now. Thats one thing we need more of.

You just can't make this stuff up. When he was a kid I bet he never thought a scenario like that would play out for him.

JR must have the patience and forgiving nature of a saint at this point.

This sh** is getting to be as bad as "Oklahoma"

Much like Cody Rhodes I guess Vader's son didn't get everything in the genetics mixed bag.

Watching old clips of Edge & Christian... They were an awesome duo. I wish the Edge blu ray had more clips of them together. Haven't watched any of the matches yet though, just the documentary.

It seems like most wrestlers are nowhere near as funny & interesting these days.

How did you get into wrestling? What kind of wrestling style do you prefer? Do you mostly like comedic wrestling characters?

My favorite bit was when they went to Memphis and dressed up as Fat Elvis and Really Fat Elvis.

Yep they were really funny together I miss Edge its a shame he had to end his career the way he did

A few weeks before Over The Limit, I was looking forward to two matches: Chris Jericho Vs. Randy Orton and Sheamus Vs. Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Title.

Then WWE does what they usually tend to do and put two matches together shortly before the show was to take place.

Here we are now and "The Force" just won't let these bouts happen on PPV much to my dislike! :cmad:

Well that's what happens when Both Jericho and Orton get Suspended and Del Rio just can't stop getting Injuried.

Hahaha, yeah. You can tell they grew up with eachother. :woot:

It just seems this new generation of WWE doesn't really have these funny bits, it all seems a little too serious now. From the newer shows I've seen.

I'm actually glad that Orton and Del Rio are out of the frame at the moment since those two bore me to death at the moment. This definitely gives wrestlers like Ziggler a chance to really take advantage of the situation and shine now while he has the opportunity.

Edge, Christian, The Hardy Boyz talking about their first ladder match... Freakin' awesome match.

Fingers of Steel!
That invisible work bench gets me every time too, Batista.
Stop! Wiggle time!

I was at a local show where this happened once, in a match between Rhino and Sabu. One of the stupidest things I've ever been a part of. Walked out on the rest of that show (granted, it was the last match, but I didn't wait for the outcome!).

Rumors continue to swirl that Randy Orton's continued employment with WWE is in jeopardy following their announcement May 30 that he was being suspended for 60 days for his second violation of the Talent Wellness Program.

F4WOnline.com reports Tuesday that Vince McMahon is livid with Orton, particularly since he was so "outspokenly indifferent" to the suspension. Another source says Orton was hastily benched to ensure that he return before SummerSlam on August 19, but "something happened" shortly after the announcement that infuriated the WWE Chairman. This has led to discussions of Orton not being brought back at all after his suspension concludes.

Former WCW announcer Mark Madden stated last Thursday via Twitter that WWE is looking to terminate their partnership with Orton since he's considered difficult to deal with and due to the belief that his value has plateaued.

There are people within WWE saying Orton's time away from the squared circle 'isn't going to be that big a problem.' For the first time, officials are openly categorizing CM Punk as the second-ranked babyface rather than the two as equals. Many also feel SmackDown's babyface side will be sufficient with Sheamus, Christian, Sin Cara, Rey Mysterio returning soon from suspension and the option to turn Daniel Bryan at a moment's notice. Orton has made and saved a lot of money during his career and resides in an area where he could live comfortably for several years without financial worry. His wife Samantha also comes from a well-to-do family, so not having a steady income is reportedly not a major concern for him.

There is a 'small, vocal pocket' within the sports entertainment organization lobbying for Orton's termination. Those opposing his return feel his lucrative ten-year contract—signed in January 2010—can no longer be justified if he is brought back in a mid-level role. His second suspension hinders WWE from continuing to feature Orton in headline role since a third drug-testing policy infraction would result in automatic termination, or, as some have stated, a "one-year suspension."

In another potential factor, there is concern over the physical state of Orton, who has incurred numerous injuries over his twelve-year career. Some officials believe his body is breaking down and there are questions regarding the state of his neck and spine.

According to SuperLuchas.net, the nine-time world champion’s suspension stems from a positive drug test for the anabolic steroid Dianabol, which is banned by the United States Congress under its Controlled Substances Act. However, that is not confirmed. F4WOnline.com says Orton claimed to test positive for a tainted supplement.

Ugh.
More Cena/Show heavy stuff, the tag match I was looking forward to his the friggin opener, and instead of Kidd/Sandow being a program that could do something for both, it's just another job for Kidd.

So when will WWE announce Ryback vs. Jobbers for the next five WWE PPV events?

I still think Orton has a lot to offer the WWE, but it's a pity he can't get his **** together for some reason.
