Sorry, I thought this was a Spidey thread, not a which-poster-sucks-the-most thread.

Once again, the good Captain is the sole voice of reason.![]()
You're missing something though.Seriously. Why is everyone getting so catty?
If you like or dislike something, then fine. There's no right or wrong when it's a matter of opinion....![]()
You're missing something though.
Sometimes, getting "catty" is damn fun. Do you think I actually have any feelings whatsoever to USMC? Of course not. It's just fun to trade barbs with someone every once in a while. If having a bit of fun is ******ed, than yes, I am thoroughly ******ed and loving every minute of it.

You're taking things WAY too seriously. It was what? 3 posts. Meanwhile, a perfectly healthy on-topic discussion was happening. Lighten up, as you pointed out with your old-as-dirt caption pic, the internet is not a serious place. In the grand scheme of things, you're "serious" discussion on Spider-Man is worth no more than my two whole (yes, two WHOLE posts...aren't I a spammer?) posts of joking around. If it's fun for you, then by all means have a blast insulting the crap out of eachother through private message, but the rest of us Spidey fans don't click on these threads to see posters trading juvenile insults. We click on these threads to talk about Spider-Man.
Maybe you're wasting your life enjoying the books. Stop expressing your opinion of wether or not we waste our lives disliking the books as if it were fact.
sheesh, pot. kettle. black.![]()

I just want down-to-earth stories that teach Peter lessons in life, mixed with interesting villainy plot and villain-hero action, cool supporting characters to make things interesting for the hero and his alter ego, and the essential spidey elements: love problems, money problems, work problems, villain problems, media problems, inner problems. Remember guys, we'll get all these again after OMD!
No, and, as it's been made glaringly obvious over the past few days, you're not funny in the least.

I'm certainly not wasting my life. That's why it's called ENJOYMENT.
But it seems you are a little offended, that's usually means that I'm right.![]()

You have those stories though. Pick up Sensational Spider-Man and Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. FNSM has had Spider-Man's supporting cast from back in the day. Betty Brant, Flash Thompson, Deb Whitman, JJJ, Robbie Robertson, etc. Sensational Spider-Man has had the solid classic Spidey story telling with the new age twist with the stylings of Sacasa.
Solid classic Spidey story telling with the new age twist with the stylings of Sacasa, AND OLD SUPPORTIN CHARACTERS MIGHT HAVE BEEN THERE, butl Sensational and Friendly Neighborhood was under the Sins Past, the Other, and Secret identity revealed crap so It still wasn't the spidey stories i'd like to read
True, but I still hate it when Peter gets evil for too long. Didn't the clone saga teach marvel that evil Peter= does not work? I mean B&B was good, but Peter should have came to his senses after wtfpwning the KingPin.
Evil? He's pissed, not evil. I like that Peter gets pissed occasionally. It's a refreshing break from wisecracking Spidey. Yes the "I AM THE SPIDER!" stuff went too far (and too long), but when Spidey cuts loose for small periods of time it makes for a cool story.
