This RPG is similar to alomost all others on S.H.H. exept in this continuity both Marvel and DC are merged as "One Universe".

RULES

-You may choose any character from both universes, but no made up or Amalgam characters such as Darkclaw or Super Soilder.

-All characters can interact with each other, it is the same universe.

-Characters from alternate time lines are allowed but must be approved.

-No Killing. Unnamed, faceless NPC's may be killed, but not major characters,or taken characters. Someone else may want to take up the character, or they may be important to another story.

-You can go anywhere within the galaxy except planets already known to be destroyed, such as Krypton, although if you have the ability you may visit the ruins or asteroids.

-You are your character, so act like it. Talk like them, use their dialouge. Do not exaggerate your powers, or pop-up here and there without explanation. BE Your character.

-Several stories can be going at once, and you have the freedom to interact with other characters.

-You must post at least once every two weeks, though it is preferred that you post more. If you go two weeks without a post without prior notice, your character is up for grabs.

-Be serious, no slander, or impractical actions from your character. Example, I found a crystal and now I own the world! You're all my slaves!

-And of course, all regular rules of the Hype apply.

-Have fun.

Question: How are we altering the continuities since they're merged? Because, I have a few ideas for the overall shape of things.

aswell if others wish to be characters from alternate timelines, they must explain what time line and how they came into this one. No seperate timelines existing in the same universe unless absolutly necissary, some exeption may be made.

Okay. I'll try and think of a character I want to sign up as. But I must say, an Amalgam RPG would be FAR easyer.

I thought about it but in the end I decided that there are many more people that always wanted to see these characters interact with one another. Like pairing up Captain America and Superman as like the two ultimate boyscouts, or have Wolvie and Bats as the ultimate hard asses. Heroes could fight villans together or fight each other, either way things people always wanted to see.
Perhaps after a little while and I think I can handle another one we could start up an Amalgam.

Um... can we amalgamate certain aspets of characters? I find it hard to believe that the universes could be the same without any new elements emerging (e.g., Peter Parker: Blue Beelte; Matt Murdock and Bruce Wayne patrol New Gotham City as the Devil and the Bat; Alexis Luthor wears the Iron Man armor she stole from Anthony Stark... that sorta thing.). the possibilities are virtually endless.

I'm not suggesting an actuall Amalgam situation; There's a real, pure Batman, but in a different universe, things turn out differently. My idea for Iron Man is a thief with a familiar name under the armor. Peter Parker, through a series of bizarre mishaps, comes into possession of the blue scarab artifact...

If we're starting from scratch, practically, this sort of thing would happen.

Well, mabey not that extreme. I'd think their origins would be more or less the same. But you could make a few changes that are caused by the combination of the two universes. Like The Avengers and the Justice League being one team. Or Cap having been a member of the Justic Society back in World War Two.

I think that's being generous. It's not te same universe. Galactus can have anybody as a Herald, like, say, Kyle Rayner. The universe is amalgamated, not the characters, but the character would change. I think it's bullcrap to say that the less sensible JSAers would not sneak onto that plane with Cap, only to take the dive with him, and be frozen, or even killed by Zemo. Maybe Kal-El was rocketed to the Earth when a starving galactus beseiged Krypton.

It's the events that make this; the events will change, regardless. Maybe due to outside forces, the Serpent Society is a team of underdog heroes who are just really queer for snakes.
Maybe the Suicide Squad's membersip was bolstered by the Wrecking Crew. I'd say the changes you have in mind are okay, but they just scratch the surface. They'be been the same universe forever; you really think the characters woulkd go unchanged, that everything would be more or less the same?

You do have a point there. But remember, the All WInners Squad didn't acompany Cap and Bucky on their last mission, so it would make sense that the JSAers wouldn't either. And yes, I know the universe will be different. But, for the most part, I'd think that their origins would remain more or less the same. However, I could see some differences in events, like Superman helping the Fantastic Four fight Galactus, or The Avengers and The Justice League being one team, or Bruce Wayne and Tony Stark being in buisness with each other. And I could definately see Hank Pym and Ray Palmer having been former reaserch partners, or Green Arrow and Hawkeye having a rivalry.

I know the All-Winners Squad (Which Steve Rogers was never a member of, Mind you; that cap was Jeff Mace) didn't. But that doesn't mean Johnny Thunder isn't a big enough putz to get himself onto that plane and **** things up at the last second, for example, and maybe accidentally get some other JSAers on board.

I still think you're not getting what I'm saying, so I'm about to give up. There's a Bizarro world, with Bizarro everybody. who's to say Bizarro doesn't drag the Bizarro JlAvengers into a fight with Superman? Or that instead of Kyle Rayner, who got the ring completely randomly, was passed over by Ganthet, in favor of, oh... Frankie Raye? The Squadron Supreme would have veiled parodies of the Avengers among them, too... no?

Very true. I get what you're saying. Some origins could be different. But not all of them would. As for the Bizarro thing, I totally get that. Exactly the kind of thing I'd expect. As for the Squadron Supreme, since it's an alternate universe, I don't think it would have Avengers anologues aswell. However, they could have the Justifiers be members of the squadron.

I'm not saying all of them will be. But I think many of them would. Just a thought. Anyway, is that sort of thing allowed aroung here?

Well, I'm not sure about many. A few, but not many. Most origins in comics wouldn't be affected much by adding new people to the universe. However, what happens to the heroes after their origins would be very different.

Eh. there are what ifs that don't add any characters, but end with Flash Thompson being Spider-Man; Anything should be legal, the way I see it.

And many doesn't necessarily mean 'Most.' I'm just saying; combiing the universes does a lot to certain things. Hell is a big thin in both; Daimon Hellstrom may become the sovereign of Hell, or something, after Lucifer gives up his throne, for example.

I think it would work better with the Avenger and the justice league being seperate, their for making a rivaly between the two groups.

Not really. Last time I checked, both were government and/or U.N. sponsored. And evem so, why a rivalry? Why not just join forces for the betterment of others?

Powers: Exact same as Spider man has in the comics, currently; So organic webshooters, and class 15 strength
Bio: Life mirrored Regular Spidey pretty closely until a boom tube mishap landed him on Earth, where he is constantly frustrated by the people's backwards lifestyle. Accidentally brought Bizarro Morlun (Who figures regular Spider-Men couldn't possibly be harder to catch than the Bizarro one) with him.

2. Trapped in a World he never Made!
3. He thinks he knows everything, but he only knows a little; Things work differently on Earth, and he's not willing to adapt
