First Hulk post up, well first Bruce Banner anyway. Let me know what you think.

Sentry2005 would it be ok if Bruce Banner came to see his old friend Tony Stark?

maybe we could work something out. but lets leave it til after the party. UNLESS, you crash the party to come see me... that could some sweet rpg-ing.

How do you guys like my Joker so far?

Absolutely amazing. If he gets established more in Gotham before Darkseid invades, he may get contacted. Darkseid appreciates a good killer. I get a very Jack Nicholson Joker vibe off of him, with a smattering of Alan Moore's Joker. Considering those are my two favorite Jokers, you're doing something right.

Also, Sentry, that last post? Fantastic. The party is going to be great fun.

Also, I'm going to have Kanto start showing up if some people don't mind. I think I've established that Darkseid really doesn't like these heroes popping up, so who better than his most proficient assassin to send in? Kanto is more title than name, and it's the name given to Darkseid's personal assassin. Sure, there's more assassins, but Kanto is the best of the best. He's also a very accomplished archer, so I'm thinking a fight between him and Green Arrow should be pretty cool.

As for when I'll unveil him, well, we'll see...

The problem with Darkseid recruiting The Joker is that Mistah J is just as likely to turn around and shoot Kanto in the face during battle as he is to blow up an orphanige.

thank you :) i do try :D

and i agree... the question's joker is f-ing awesome.

Ah, but the thing with Kanto is, whoever kills Kanto becomes Kanto. Darkseid could really care less. Moreover, he can't hurt 95% of Darkseid's generals, and he can't hurt the Parademons at all. So the Joker may have his homicidal tendencies, he can't act them out against Darkseid.

It was mostly just a thought. I'm hoping that a sort of Injustice Society gets formed by Magneto, as a good old fashioned hero/villain throwdown would be great fun.

But in that case, If Magneto was a member, The Joker would never be allowed to join. The Joker is a true killer. He kills without prejiduce or lust or greed. So, he's just as likely to kill a mutant as he is a normal human. Anyway, as for Darkseid, The Joker is a loose cannon. If he gets within a few yards of a fire pit generator Apokolipse is screwed.

True enough. However, the Joker has been a member of the Secret Society of Supervillains and the Injustice Gang, so he can be a team player. When he feels like it.

Yeah. But Magneto wouldn't stand for it is what I'm saying.

Maybe. Joker, despite his insanity, is still just human. Considering how Magneto disdains all humans, no matter how good or bad, I'd argue that Magento likely wouldn't include Joker just because he's a normal human.

Of course, this could lead to some wonderful resentment on the part of the Joker. He notices all these other people taking sides with Magneto, but he isn't invited. Could make for some good scenes.

LibrarianThorne you have some great ideas for this RPG, but so do alot of others perhapes you could listen their idea's also.

Well, I just think Magneto would be completely disgusted with The Joker. Even though Magneto is a manipulative mass murdering terrorist, he does have an honor code, and doesn't take pleasure in killing humans. He does it because he feels it's necesairy. He would be utterly disgusted with The Joker.

EDIT - I posted that there will be a press conference tomorrow morning, and I said that I was going to contact Perry White and Jonah Jameson, so if Peter or Clark show up...well, that'd be swell :D

Also i'm not sure if you guys noticed me mention this before, but now that we all have two characters can we please start each post with a mention of who we are posting for? a simple IC: Doctor Doom or <Doctor Doom> for example would suffice  whaddya guys think?

I made a mention of it in my latest post,so...Clark will be there for sure.(And He'll be attending Oliver Queen's party aswell.)

Interesting, how would people feel about Hulk crashing the party?

Then the question is how far does Magneto's honor code go? Why would he be disgusted with the Joker yet not when confronted with someone like Sabretooth? A poor comparison, granted, as Sabretooth has killed far fewer people than the Joker. However, a sociopath is a sociopath.

Personally, I think Magneto's whole "honor code" system is bunk. He's a mutant Hitler, when you get right down to it. Make whatever claims about "noble villain" you want, but Magneto shares many of Hitler's viewpoints and is in some ways worse. That's why I prefer villains like Darkseid and the Joker. They're bad guys with enough sense to realize it and revel in it.

Really, I'm looking forward to to how the Joker reacts and develops as a character in this merged universe. Maybe it's due to the whole Infinite Crisis deal going down in the comics, but I think it's going to be pretty cool when the Joker realizes there's a bad guy get together and he wasn't invited.

And to Master Bruce, cool! Will Lois and Jimmy be coming too? Or just Clark?

Considering Clark is going to be in attendance, and that could very well lead to Hulk vs Superman(and possibly some others, like Iron Man and Spider-Man)...I have no problems with that.

But I wanna see what everyone else thinks,first....

Actually, since Sabretooth has been around so long, he's killed many more people than The Joker. And, in the comics, Sabretooth has never been a member of the Brotherhood. I just think that The Joker's total disregard for life, both human and mutant, would disgust Magneto.

I'd be fine with it. I do feel pretty bad for the Hulk in this scenario, though. Short list of heroes in attendence: Superman, Batman, Green Arrow, Wonder Woman, Spider-Man, Iron Man. Humor value alone would be enough for me.

Since I doubt Lois would want to miss the chance to get interviews with people like Oliver Queen,Tony Stark,or Bruce Wayne...I plan on bringing her along.

Jimmy,I dunno.I may just bring him for the press conference. But Lois and Clark are definatley there.

He wouldn't turn up straight away, so they character can talk out of costume. The two ways i see it are..

> Hulk arrives at the party, heroes fight him.

> Banner arrives at the party seeking his old friend Tony Starks help, something enrages him (the army perhapes have followed him). The heros fight both the army and Hulk.

the second being my choice.

What did you guys think of my Victor Von Doom post??

fyi: Everyone is doing really awesome...this rpg'ing is flowing great

After the press conference, any chance Reed and maybe Sue as his date could get an invite to this partaayyyy??

Well, Reed's supposed to be a famous scientist already, so i don't see why not. Also, your Doom was pretty good.

Your Doom was good, can't wait to see how he reacts to Darkseid's invasion.

As to Reed and Sue getting invites, sure. Queen's secretary will know of them, and send them invites.

Man, the Hulk is not going to have a fun time at the party. Mr. and Mrs. Fantastic on top of all the other spandex-clad might in attendance? I feel sorry for the big green lummox.

Thanks dudes, I'm going to show Doom's momma's boy side for the first while as he tries to free his moms soul from Mephisto's demon dimension...keep in mind, he still doesn't have his mask or anything yet...

The Question, is Spider-man going to be attending the press conference for the FF?
