"One Universe" Marvel & DC Crossover RPG!

Why do I have a feeling that I'm gonna miss the big finale while I'm at work?

Well it all depend on if u want to use it on Darseid himself or on his command ship, either way would be usefull now, but if yur gona get on the ship you can hook up with iron man or fly yur own ship. Both ways be cool.

How do you mean "use it on"? When the Nullifier's activated it'll destroy all of existence, and that's not good. Reed used it to defeat Galactus by threatening him with it, not using it. Luckily, Big G didn't call Mr. Fantastic's bluff, but what if Darkseid (who's truly evil, not a force of the cosmos like Galactus) does?

The Ultimate Nullifier is a fictional item of immense power in the Marvel Universe.
First appearing in Volume 1, Issue #50 of the Fantastic Four comic book, the Nullifier has the ability to completely and utterly eliminate any target the wielder chooses, along with the wielder himself. While its origins are ancient, alien and unknown, it resembles a small, hand-held metallic device with no apparent functionality. It is the only thing in the known universe capable of inspiring fear in the omnipotent being Galactus, as shown when Reed Richards threatened to use it in defense of the planet Earth.
It currently resides in safekeeping at the Baxter Building, under the careful watch of the Fantastic Four.

From Wikipedia

So it doesn't wipe out all existance, unless the person using it is careless...which Reed Richards is not

Reed can appear whenever he wants, as I've got a bad feeling about what's going to happen to Thor and Superman...

Considering the circumstances of...use it, or the earth will be invaded and destroyed, I think i'll take my chances

BRING IT!

Oh yeah. He's going to kick our asses. :o

Is Darkseid really that powerful?! He can take both Superman and Thor?? He'd probably kick Thanos' ass then

*A weakened Superman and Thor. He's done damage to both of them, so I'm sure he'll be able to take us. :(

okay i'm confused...where is Darkseid right now??

I believe he's still in Broadway, fighting Superman and Thor.

Ok, even though I despise the quick post I just made, I needed to do it so Spidey and Ollie aren't just hanging in mid-air while stuff is going down. I'm off to work, and I'll be back on later. In the meantime, twylight and LibrarianThorne have the ability to bunny Iron Man, but only if it's ABSOLUTELY needed.

Adios amigos.

Boy, it sure does suck that Darkseid's ship is blocking out the sun, Superman's main power source... :(

*wink wink, nudge nudge, hint hint, ect* ;)

Superman's powers aren't a switch. He operates more like a solar battery. The sun being blocked out won't hinder him really. Otherwise, Supes would basically be worthless in the night time.

As to whether or not Darkseid could take Superman and Thor at the same time, hell yes he could. DC stated that the Crisis on Infinite Earths didn't affect the New Gods, leaving all of Darkseid's pre-Crisis feats intact. Which means that Darkseid could still knock a pre-Crisis Kryptonian (the ones that were literally invulnerable to everything but magic and kryptonite, and able to juggle planets) into a coma with a single punch.

I'm not playing him at that absurd level of power, but he's still more than powerful enough to take on Thor and Supes together. I'm playing him as roughly Skyfather level, to give you Marvelites an idea of his power. The only reason the heroes are even fighting him is because he wishes it so.

Damn, goblins gona stall Luther!? Well Supes you may have to be in that weakened state a bit longer. Without Lex to blow the ship apart with his planes this things gona be sittin infront of the sun for a while.

OOC: Sparta, you might want to edit Reed's first sentence there.

What am I supposed to be editting? What's wrong with the first sentence?

It was worded weirdly, until I saw that comma. Like a sentence ended prematurely.

Anywho, this is the endgame, so Twy, could you edit that last post? 'Seid can't really communicate when getting blasted like that.

As to the mountain shattering thing hurting him, I reiterate, he traded blows with beings that moved planets, amped up by Motherboxes, and annihilated them. Mountain shattering is very impressive, taking down planet movers amped up by deific level tech is much moreso.

Don't worry, only some planes are going after the Green Goblin. I'll edit my post to clarify. I'm also bunnying Midnight Ice a little, to keep things moving.
