"One Universe" Marvel & DC Crossover RPG!

Not to be an anoyance but I was kind of hoping to play Hal as my second character. I mentioned it a while back then again on page 84, but the whole infighting began and i didn't get a chance to read up on him some more or put an application up.

Honestly I had no idea who Hal Jordan was so aside from the argument I completely had no idea. I never knew the names of the lanterns, just always liked the powers. The only name I knew though was John Stewart, although I know Jordan by pictures rather than name.

This is my problem with people being allowed a second-character. If established players start hogging multiple characters, then it reduces the number of roles open to new players.

I say that, since you're interested in Hal Jordan as a second character, that Purple Man should get first choice over whether he wants him or not, since he's looking for a first character.

Though I never appreciated the character until about a year ago, I believe he'd be a good jumping on point for me. Starting him at Oa, fighting alongside Sinestro against Galactus and eventually working his way to Earth to mingle amongst the other heroes.

I have some ideas for Hal Jordan, but if Red X has better ones then by all means I will step down and see if I can do something with some other characters.



Has anything been done with Apocalypse or Captain Marvel (Shazam!) yet? An idea came to me before I fell asleep last night.

I played Marvel. He lost the trust of the people of Fewcett city and gave up being Marvel, so he was just Billy.

And who's ideas are better aren't really and good way to measure who should have the character.
I’m not really sure how to decide, I personally wanted to start with Abin Sur finding Hal and him joining the corp.

I think it's a perfect way to decide to who should use the character. If you have better ideas for the character it would be a disservice to everyone else if I took over.

To fit in with Superferret, I would have Hal meeting Abin Sur told in flashback while currently trying to protect Oa from Galactus. After the result of the battle, Hal could have his homecoming on Earth, and possibly prepare the heroes for the coming of Galactus.

How about Dr.Doom? Has anything been done with him? I was thinking about having him tied into the whole Brainiac thing I've been trying to cook up.

Speaking of Dr.Doom, I think it'd be cool just to see him in the same room as Lex Luthor.

Has Hulk been used at all? Captain Atom? I was thinking about tieing them together.

Dr. Doom is being played by Sparta. And just might get to see Doom and Luthor in the same room together before too long...

Ok, took me a while, but everything seems to be fixed now. Had to start over again from scratch. Wipe the old slate clean, or what not.

Hal is a hotheaded pilot, never good at taking orders. In a plane or using his ring that grants him the ability to create emerald constructs of whatever he wishes, Jordan is fearless.

If only...


Most of the time we just team up with different characters but there is never a great BIG event that's planned...except last season or two in the DC RPG we had a few large events that everyone participated in.


Wow..I just tought....this is going be fun if Hal joins the new group!

If we can get more people to agree, we should start throwing around some ideas on what we can do to make this seem like a more cohesive universe.

Hopefully my ideas with Galactus and Brainiac can further these goals.

Well, since we're throwing out ideas, here's one I had for the JL / Avengers stuff.

Let them start out as different groups: The Avengers would be a government-controlled group, while the JL would be a free-runned group.

The government would start to get antzy towards the JL, so they send the Avengers after them. The two start fighting until the Avengers see some of the stuff the government is planning (Sentinals against renagade Metas and the Cadmus program, attempting to create their own controlled Metahumans), the two team up, take out their plans, and form together under one group.

I was thinking of having Jay catch some much needed rest after Dinah wakes up, giving me a bit of time to focus on Jugsy. Then Jay might start running around asking different heroes he's heard about if htey'd like to join a new team so they can be ready if something like the invasio happens again.

But, here's something for the two group idea...while I don't like the idea of it being 'hero against hero' there could be a group called the ...
"The Outsiders" and it could encompass the people like Wolverine, Sabretooth, Juggernaut etc...kinda the people flirting on the edge of being anti-heros. Or who have more radical way's of dealing with things.

One group of straight laced old school people.

One group for the rebels.


Mix together..instant tension.
