Season 28's start date hasnt been announced yet - although dvd dates for the first two volumes have, so based on that most fans reckon late THIS month or early April. Doesn't seem right to me, surely the advertising blitz would have started by now... April 15th is being thrown around most, by people who apparentely have "connections".... bah!

Its up to you. You are a great Reed, but I would like to see how you do with Iceman. Since I have played him since season one of teh Marvel RPG, I would like to see someone else play him. (But no, I am not giving him up in the Marvel one. )

You frogot the best bit, with Reed Richards and Lex Luthor meeting at the party afterwards. Luthor acted all concerned for his "friend" Reed Richards, and vowed to track down the depraved individual responsible for the robot attack...

Ice, I think you and me could very well be the only two players left who have been playing as the same character in the Marvel RPG since the beginning of Season 1.

I've been playing Archangel since Season II...wheres my props?!

Who being the operative word. That's my point though, if you allow any character who has ever appeared in a marvel comic (Kiss was the examle used I think) this is the kind of stuff that's left open - characters very few people have heard of coming in. I used the Doctor as an example because I knew - not that many Americans know about him, he's a brit only thing, and hes very definately a character who wouldn't fit. It would be all kinds of chaos.

Yeah The Doctor is the name of the main character in Doctor Who. My point was that if things like Kiss start getting let in, because they've been in a Marvel comic, than you would have to let The Doctor in too... because he too had a marvel comic book. While he would fit it would be crap - a character with power over time and time travel would make things a bit too easy.

Yeah I agree...it should only be REAL Marvel and DC characters that are allowed to participate in this RPG...plus time travel isn't allowed in this RPG (At least I think...it's not allowed in most of the other ones)

time travel is allowed in my books as long as whoever wants to use time travel consults a GM first.

In my experience time travel always leads to everyone getting confused and storylines getting messed up. I really don't think it's a good idea...it's unnecessary and nothing good comes out of it.

That’s not necessarily true. It can help to widen the scope on a character or even create an interesting arc.

Well, anyway, it's not like anyone is actually gonna play Dr. Who. Best to stick with the better known characters, I myself am not too familiar with DC stuff so it makes it easier for people like me who know one universe better than the other...

How about a revised League of Assassins? Elektra, Taskmaster, Deadpool, Sabretooth, Deathstroke, Deadshot, Lady Shiva, and Merlyn all on the same team would be so cool it'd be ice cold.

Yeah, the Hulk has already been used. I don't think anyone is playing him anymore though so you can take him if you want

I wouldn't mind is someone played Sue Storm...but i'd prefer if it was a chick lol
