It's the fact that there are all these damn heroes that I don't recognise. It just doesn't make sense.

The news suddenly blares over the hustle of the shelter as someone turns up the volume on the television.

Superman... fighting a robot.

And the others... the new one... are helping him.

I need to get out of here.

I need to help.

I rush to the door, only to be stopped by a man in a security suit.

"Sorry son, but there's a battle going on out there... you don't want no part of that. specially in your jammies"

I stare at the guy.

This just isn't my week!

I hope my last post wasn't too extreme and out of character for Lex Luthor. I thought that, for all the work I've put into Luthor justifying his actions, I needed to put some work into making him a bastard as well. Hence the little exchange with Diane...

hey guys. i got a problem. Booster Gold. I don't think i can continue with him. I personally think I shouldn't have chosen him, and he seems near impossible to fit into the continuity the way i'm writing him.

I have a backup character i'd like to use as my second character instead. This isn't to say that i'm going to abandon booster. if my second character is accepted, i'll finnish with booster first, give him some closure, so that any one who wants to play as him can.

the character i'd like to make my second so you know is Daredevil, as i really want to take a look at the legal stance on the new heroes that are appearing, perhaps someone like lex could hire me to sue superman for slander, perhaps he'd be responsible for bring cap 'back to life' from a legal stand point.

So this was just a heads up, and to ask the mods if this was ok. if it is i'll do a formal application for daredevil and retire booster this weekend. thanks.

God, the RPG was dead today. This is what I was worried about. At this early stage in the game, its crucial to keep new players interested by keeping the story moving forward.

Not that I'm having any second thoughts. I'm loving the high-quality writing in this RPG, and have lots of ideas for developing Lex Luthor. I even quit the Ultimate Marvel RPG to make more time for this. I just hope that things pick up again tomorrow.
