Sparta's been active in this thread, but where's Mr. Fantastic in the main thread? What has the Hulk been up to, Red X?

I wouldn't mention it if it didn't bug me. I'm doing my damndest to include everyone in this thing (even characters without players like the Flash, Beast Boy, and Wonder Man), and it doesn't really feel like a sweeping, epic story if only four people are posting in it.

Why hasn't Cap headed out and done something? Sure there's the whole Lex Luthor thing, but Cap knows that everyone needs him right now. You know, apocalyptic events halted at the last minute make for some of the best superhero stories. This is exactly what this event is. So, let's see some superheroes!

I'm working out a story with Mister Fantastic and the Ultimate Nullifier. I'm not getting involved with the invasion as of yet, because I want to retrieve that weapon first, and that will involve me going into space.

With all due respect, why does that matter?? this is how so many RPG's fall apart, needless matters scrutinized when they aren't really a big deal. It leads to other things and then boom, before ya know it,

It doesn't matter.

Just something I noticed and thought was interesting.

That and the fact that I honestly don't rememebr why we got more AGMs.

RPGs don't die because people scrutinize things, they die because PEOPLE DON'T POST. That simple. Twy brought up a valid point. Sparta, you haven't posted in forever. OC doesn't really post. Keyser hasn't posted in a while, and Midnight Ice isn't doing much of anything with Cap. Odd, methinks, considering in game the entire world is literally going to hell in a handbasket. If you have an overarching plot you want to do, then do it by all means. But someone reading the RPG thread is going to be interested, methinks, when they suddenly see so many people just stop posting. It bothers the hell out of me, as it really disturbs the narrative flow and believability of my Darkseid posts.

Speaking of which, has anyone seen JRK recently? I haven't seen a Batman/Bruce Wayne post in this game in ages... Or a Watchman Scarecrow post,either.

Um, excuse me man...I am extremely busy and have a ton of things going on in my life right now. An internet RPG isn't the first thing on my mind when I have a new female in my life, mid-terms, tons of projects, recent health concerns, family problems etc. I usually post a good amount, but at the moment it's not in the cards for me. You guys don't need a Mister F post to keep the invasion moving, so keep on doing what your doing. I will post when I post, and as long as I mention that, I'm not doing anything wrong, despite what you think. A lot of my posts have been OC lately, mainly because i'm pretty much the only mod that looks after things like roster updating and such. I will post when I can, and i'm sorry that my life is getting in the way of your Darkseid story moving along (even though you story doesn't even involve Reed in anyway) Maybe I should just quit this RPG until my schedule clears up...I have a ton of important things I need to do, and if I had to rank them all in importance, this RPG wouldn't even be on the list. There is nothing wrong with the rpg moving at a slower pace...not everyone is as gung ho as you Librarian, and not everyone can post everyday...it doesn't make them bad RPG'ers, it just means they have other things in their lives and can't be on the internet all the time or get access to a comp.

You are, in part, right. I do spend a lot of time on the Hype and other boards, but I've also got a lot of other stuff I deal with every day. But I try to ensure I get at least one post a day in on at least one of the RPGs I'm in. Why? Because I said I would when I applied.

I'm not "gung ho", really. RPing is fun. THat's why I'm in two RPGs here and play in several tabletop RPGs. I enjoyed concocting this whole Darkseid arc and doing everything I could to make sure everyone's involved if they want to be. If they don't, like Taskmaster, that's perfectly fine, too. But I feel that, since Darkseid is such a driving force at this point in the RPG, that it's my responsibility to keep things moving forward as best I can.

Good for you. Some people can't make time everyday, and they don't have to. The rules say that 2 weeks is allowed between posts, and if you mention in the OC forum that you can't post for longer, then that is acceptable as well (ex, Sentry2005-Iron Man)

Well, not to be insulting, but if you've got time to spar with me in the OOC thread then you've got time to make a post.

As to Sentry, I understand what he's going through, but it's been more than two weeks (far more, in fact) since his last post. His not being here is holding up another player's story (Twy's), and I really see no need for it because we've got someone who wants to be Iron Man in SuperFerret. The way I see it, it's better to have someone as Iron Man and posting as Iron Man than to have someone be Iron Man and... not post.

It's tough, but I think it's fair for everyone involved.

In reguards to posting...

No offense, but it doesn't take that much to keep the RPG running.
Myself and the other GM's in the DC RPG do nothing..literally..in terms of 'running' the RPG. Unless it's between seasons or the RPG is re-organizing the rules, etc...last Season in the RPG I had to redo and uphold the rules on my own, and I got totally overwhelmed and literally snapped.

This RPG moves along on it's own so I don't think you should use that as an excuse.

I hate to gang up on you but LT is right.

You're on Hype for hours, posting in the Contest of Marvels thread and other assorted threads, in fact you're posts are spread out at even intervals throughout different threads.

You could always use Hal. Your Kyle in the DC RPG is pretty good.

Personally, I'd like to see some mutant stuff. We know that they're in the universe, and at the least that Genosha and Asteroid M exist. They'd add a whole other layer of story to the universe, and that's pretty neat in and of itself. Not to mention, I really want to have Ollie comment on the whole mutant deal. No way a Socialist with Communist tendencies like Ollie would let mutant concentration camps slide.

I'm Sinestro in the DC RPG. Wouldn't mind being Kyle though.

I wanted to bring the mutant situation into the universe, and figured Logan would be a good way of doing it.

Besides, I had a nice little fight during the invasion thought up.
