Hey LT, I was wondering somethin. Since Darsied knows Lucifer, and thier kind of in the same type of character range, powerlevel, and stuff like that, and the fact that his minions are called parademons, would the parademons be weakened/injured by holy water or holy symbols? The reason I ask is because I'd like to intagrate Constantine into the fight, and have more to work with than a shotgun and magic, which might not work anyway. But I just needed to know if Holy magics will work on parademons. or not, and if typicaly not if you wouldnt mind bending the history just even in a slight way to give him a bit more amunition. I figured I'd ask first as its yur character and I dont wana interfer.



Also, HEY NOON! I had some ideas for the X-men, and even something with Rouges arival, Ill send u a tell.

1. Lucifer is in an entirely different power level than Darkseid. Lucifer is as far above Darkseid as Darkseid is above the superheroes.

2. Parademons aren't demons, they're clone soldiers, mindlessly loyal to Darkseid and with no greater aim than to die in his service. Which they do well, I might add.

3. Constantine isn't going to be of any huge use against an alien invasion, sorry. There's a reason you don't see John slinging spells against Mageddon or Starro or the world ending threat of the week in the superhero books. You want to know why? Because Constantine is smart enough not to get involved with that sort, especially when he's got soul crushing demons from hell out to kill him and everyone he loves and plunge the Earth into a thousand years of mind shattering terror. Constantine does what he can, and he's generally pretty cunning, but cunning isn't going to cut it when you're duking it out with superpowered alien forces.

Which has me thinking; since the JLA is being formed to combat the extraterrestrial threat of Darkseid, maybe we need a mystical team to fight magical baddies like Mordru.

Ok so thats a no on the holy water and stuff, no biggy. I just figured because you had mentioned talking to Lucifer in one of your posts that maybe Darksied and his gang would be somewhat in that magical type of realm despite being aliens. Its cool though, I'll still have Constantine travel to New York to fight off some Demon scuge there and possibly warn the JLA that they might not know what thier dealing with, because if demons even new about Darksied before anyone else than that could be a problem for them. If anyone has ideas around that general area leme know.

We have a big Apocalypse Arc in progress right now and could realy use more people, especialy X-men. And I dont think that Spider-Man is taken anymore, so it might be up for grabs. Ok quik question.

Wolverines claws are supposed to be able to cut through anything right? So theoreticaly, could he cut/damage Darksied? I know that physicaly he couldnt take him, but with as sharp and strong as his claws are, wouldnt he be able to do at least some damage?

Sadly I would but I know nothing about the Ultimate Characters. I pick up UXM and have the first two TP’s of UFF but that’s all

I’d really like to be able to go into sub-plots after this Invasion thing. May I lay out a timeline?

Rescue

Return and set up of JLA *complete at the old JSA Brownstone with the Name fight. *

Then either A) branch off on our own or B) get drawn into the Constantine Arc. I think a mixture of both would be good.


But SF and I have to weave ourselves in and out of the arc because we’re gonna have our own subplots going on, so if the missions could be close to home?

No, because it doesn't matter how strong his claws are, he himself lacks the physical strength to pierce Darkseid's skin. Look at Zombie Wolverine attacking the Silver Surfer over in Marvel Zombies. Wolverine can strike as hard as he can, but the claws simply won't hurt Darkseid, and would probably result in Wolverine's skin actually flying off of his bones (dependant on the amount of force involved, of course); as the arm would go from maximum acceleration possible to zero in a very short span of time.

Now, if someone like Superman or the Surfer was using their strength with the claws, yes they could hurt Darkseid.

Yeah, he would be very useful as far as intelligence gathering and the like goes. But he's not even close to being in Mordru's league in terms of magical power. He might be able to hold Mordru off for a minute or two since he's crafty enough, but he'd be totally outclassed by the Dark Lord in a magical duel and would be forced to either flee or die.
Now, he'd definitely be the one to handle the zombie plague that should be slowly sweeping across Austria right about now.

I can definitely see that. With his connections in the mystic world(s), John would be highly useful in tracking down a entity such as Mordru.

I should dump Catwoman because the only action she's gonna get is from Slam (No one even knows whom he is. ), and pick up Zanna.
