"One Universe" Marvel & DC Crossover RPG!

So...who all is going to be members of this new super group that will be formed soon?

Well, Jay, Dinah, and Tony are pretty much set. And Jay's sort of inviting Zatanna.

Wildcat's unofficially in. Since no one's playing him, I've made him the 'trainer' of the team. So anyone on the team who wants to use him to help train their character can.

Jay was going to invite Reed and the Four, but if no one is playing them, then probably not.

I was thinking anyone who fought Darkseid (Supes, Jugs, Thor, Spidey, Green Arrow) would get an invite (if someone is playing them).

Just had a thought. We need some metas in the X-Men. Some of DC's mutants. Be a good way of making the team fit into the One Universe.

Ok...so the Flash, Black Canary, Iron Man are definites, with a few others as possibles.

General Q: How long does everyone think it will be before this group is finally formed?

Thor will definitely join the supergroup, once he returns to Earth. His reasoning will even be explained in my next Thor post (whenever that occurs).

I haven't told SF this yet..:o

but I'm going to try to have DInah and Tony have a 'date out'

If Jay want's to interupt it to announce a meeting of Superheroes it would be great.

Sounds awkward. And fun.

Just need for Zatanna and Jay to finish up and head back home.

Not that this needs to be said, but Superman would naturally want to be apart of any supergroup being made. It's part of the reason I chose him in the first place. (Aside from him being a great character, of course. :o)

Bats should get an invite too. Although he'd likely do his "call me if you need me" thing.

That's the point. ;)
Can't you just see a fancy resturant with Dinah and Tony alone in a corner table...;)

Is it alright if I have Zee transport you back to San Fancisco?

Sure. San Fran's only a jog away from the East Coast for Jay. ;)

Superman should probably be the one to invite him, considering Jay wasn't there for the Hulk attack, and Clark deduced Batman was Bruce Wayne anyway. It could be a nice ''World's Finest'' moment... even if Bats turns him down.

That would be great if he had a Bats...or even a Spidey.

Maybe Morph could join this supergroup? Every group needs comedic relief....right? Besides I like the Juggy/Morph interactions.

Yeah, other than Batman and Spider-Man, we've not heard from the Joker, Captain Marvel, and Doc Ock in some time. IIRC, same goes for the Punisher, Green Goblin, Cyclops, Venom, Reed Richards, and the Human Torch.

While we're on the subject, did Sparta say he had to take a leave of absense, or did he just drop out? I can't remember.

I think Sparta held onto Reed, but the Torch is free now.

I've said this before, but I'd really like it if the team stayed rather small. In both of the other RPGs everything seems to descend into an all heroes vs. all villains situation, which rarely comes up in the comics too much.

Well, even if the team was big, we wouldn't always have to have big heroes vs. villains adventures. Everyone could still do their solo arcs, and we could have some buddy adventures where a couple of members go off to do something (which would be especially funny if they didn't know each other or didn't get along).

And I'm not sure if Jugs will accept the invite. He is supposed to be a villain afterall. 'Bout time he did some villainy things. Like goin' after a few X-Men. ;)

I don't have any plans for Deadpool to team up with any villians. In fact unlike all the other RPG's i'm in, I just making Wade's story up as I go along.

Well, don't worry, I think that Stark will have a problem with Juggernaut joining.

The problem is, though... Has Juggernaut done anything to warrant Stark's distrust?

Besides... you know... nearly knocking down the Daily Planet.

Also, with Green Goblin... I'm a bit uncertain with him, really. I may keep him. I may not. I have two or three other characters that I wouldn't mind playing, but if I were to drop GG, I'd only keep my focus on Superman for awhile. So... Um... Sorry. :o

I'm actually on the verge of "dropping" Loki (yeah, I forgot I had him too), but as it's been over two weeks he's technically not mine anymore anyway, so I'm really on the verge of not taking him back.

The thing is, I was involved in an arc meant to involve Venom, Spidey and Bats...

Since neither of them are around I'm stuck. I cant get the symbiote back, I can't really do anything...

I think its been about 8 weeks since the arc advanced any, and I can't do anything without them.

Well, that's when you have a core group of six or seven members and the rest as reserves/honorary members. That way your main roster isn't overflowing with heroes, and, if someone goes MIA for a while, you can always call up a reserve member to fill their spot. That way the team will never be short handed.

And on that note, if other PCs feel left out if they don't get to join the main roster of this League, they can start to form one of the other teams that have yet to appear (Outsiders, Teen Titans, New Warriors, etc).
