"One Universe" Marvel & DC Crossover RPG!

Master Bruce said:
Alright, I've given thought to this... And I'm gonna do it. Keep in mind, this is for next season, not this season... I just want to claim the character before anyone else does, because of the story I have worked out for him. So, without further adue, my second character for next season...

"One Universe" RPG SEASON II SIGN-UP FORM

Screen Name: Master Bruce

Character you would like to play and a brief description of his/her powers and Bio: Wally West was a student in Blue Valley, Nebraska, and president of the official Flash fanclub when he was offered a chance to meet his hero in person. Not knowing The Flash of that time was actually his uncle by marriage, Barry Allen, Wally was caught in a freak accident that mirrored the same one that turned Allen into The Flash. With the same powers of his hero, Wally became Barry's sidekick, Kid Flash. The two went on to secretly protect the twin cities of Central and Keystone for years. However, everything changed when Allen killed his longtime enemy, Eobard Thwane/Professor Zoom, taking the villian's life in self-defense. Though the charges were dropped against Barry, and he resumed the role of The Flash, the incident scarred young Wally forever, making him realise how serious and grim of a profession of superheroics could be. Renouncing his role as Kid Flash, he vowed never to willingly use his powers again, for fear of ending up like his mentor. Years later, with the emergence of heroes like Superman, Spider-Man, Batman, and others, Wally is only just approaching his twenties, due to his slowed aging as a result of his inactive powers. In a world where heroes are born, and still needed... Where will he fit in?

Though he never uses them, Wally posesses the inhuman ability of super speed, aswell as molecular control, the creation of lightning aswell as tornadic surges (and other speed related elements), and even possibly time and dimensional travel, though he's yet to discover these possibilities. Wally could very well be the fastest man alive, only rivaled by Superman, Quicksilver, and the original Flash, Jay Garrick.

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:

1. Wally West is a character I've wanted to play for a very, very long time. But I was always too intimidated by Savage and TheCorpulent1's exceptional portrayls to ever take him up in the DC RPG. And since no one else with the exception of Darth Wolverine, who quit, has taken him... I decided to seize the opprotunity.

2. Usually, in RPG's, I go by other people's plans and storylines and contribute all that I can to them. Now, I've got my own story to tell (With some aid from wiegabo)... One that I'm actually confident in, and will both re-establish a character who has vast potential in this RPG, and keep the 'Fresh Start' aspect alive and well into Season II.

3. Think about it. A Spidey/Flash teamup. A battle with Quicksilver. Flash being so fast that Daredevil would have a hard time keeping his radar focused on him. Wally seeking out help from Professor Xavier. Johnny Storm arguing with him over who's got the better hairstyle. Him having a crush on Rogue or Kitty Pryde. There are tons of possibilites for some really good interaction with Marvel characters from Wally, aswell as fellow DC Characters. (Infact... Young Avengers/Teen Titans team, anyone?)

What can you bring to this game?

The gift of a child's laughter.

How many times do you intend on posting a DAY IN the RPG:

I'll post so fast that you won't even see half of them. Making you all to believe I'll have at least posted once a day. :o

In all honesty, there's really no way of answering for sure. It just depends on how fast the RPG moves. (And don't think that Wally wouldn't be able to keep up, either. ;))

Approved

Alright...SF is dropping Tony.

Any suggestions for Dinah?

Could use some help in Chicago. I hear Iron Man is good at lifting heavy things, and Dinah and Jay could pull the freed people to safety.

So now we've got two Flashes? Coolness.

BTW, wrapped up the battle on Oa. It's a little anti-climactic, I think, but A) I wanted to get it out of the way so Hal could come to Earth, and B) I have no idea what Parallax would do in combat. So hopefully y'all can forgive me for somewhat skimming over it.

Jay's passed out now. I figure I'll have him sleep until the current time to when Superman is trying to figure out if he should surrender himself. I figure that will jump us ahead and we can have Jay wake up at Stark mansion.

I've been mulling this over for a month and finally decided to put something on here

"One Universe" RPG SIGN-UP FORM

Screen Name:
Byrd Man

Character you would like to play and a brief description of his/her powers and Bio: Luke Cage/Power Man: Superhuman strength, stamina, and Titanium hard skin. A street punk who was arrested for car jacking, he was chosen by S.H.I.E.L.D's Project Cadmus to undergo a experiment to create a superhero mercenary or a Hero For Hire.

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:

1. I want him to get in a fight with Steel, the battle of the black metal gods

2. I like Luke alot and with DC heroes added in I couldn't resist

3. Luke is almost invincible and can't be easily stopped

What can you bring to this game?

"A black man, Yeah that's right I said it! Black man gonna be a superhero and not a damn thing yoy can do about it!" But seriously I want to bring a underrated superhero to the forefront

"One Universe" RPG SIGN-UP FORM

Screen Name: Eddie Brock Jr.

Character you would like to play and a brief description of his/her powers and Bio: Colossus, Colossus possesses the ability to transform his entire body into a form of 'organic steel', in his armored form, Colossus possesses vast superhuman strength and invulnerablity, he has near-limitless stamina, and is immune to extremes of heat and cold, high-voltage electricity and even most magical attacks, he requires no food, water or even oxygen to sustain himself, he is more vulnerable to magnetic attacks and manipulation in his metallic form.

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:

1. He has one of the coolest powers.

2. He is one of the strongest heroes.

3. I like the X-Men, and that's where he belongs.

What can you bring to this game?

I used to act, so I'm good at getting into character and staying in character for long periods of time.

How many times do you intend on posting a DAY IN the RPG: As many as necessary, but I plan on posting often.

Do you know how to post pictures on the hype boards: Yes.

"One Universe" RPG SIGN-UP FORM

Screen Name:
Syn Mercenary

Character you would like to play and a brief description of his/her powers and Bio: Cable Nathan Christopher Summers is a supersoldier from the future. He is Scott Summers Son and is the president of Rumekistan. His powers are Telepathy, Telekinesis, Temporal astral projection; Cyberpathy, Teleportation (both with technology). His motives are unclear. Because he is from the future and knows what will happen, he thinks the only way to make a better future is to be the Worlds dictator and rule the world, though only he knows thats what he plans to do.

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:

1. His World dictator concept is awsome! Yet he convinces himself it isn't bad by saying he's the world's savior.

2. His attitude on issues is cool and he is always calm, and rarely freaks out. (creepy factor)

3. His powers are awsome and he's really powerful. (but at a certain cost)

What can you bring to this game? I used to act and still like to so I can bring good plots and acting to an RPG. I also don't try to kill everyone or exploit my characters powers so I always win.

How many times do you intend on posting a DAY IN the RPG: As many as my character will need. If I'm involved, than I'll post a lot, if I'm not, a little.

Do you know how to post pictures on the hype boards: Yep.

Well, Wally's alread taken.

As for Colossus, he has a minor history as an NPC. He had gone to the Institute for help because he thought he too dangerous without it. When the Juggernaut attacked the Mansion, Piotr helped in the fight. He got beat up, but nothing too serious.

Jr. and Syn are both approved

"One Universe" RPG SIGN-UP FORM
Screen Name: Andy C.

Character you would like to play and a brief description of his/her powers and Bio: Col. Nick Fury

At one time, Nicholas Joseph Fury was the greatest soldier the world had never seen. A veteran of the Second World War, Fury led a special task force known as "The Holwing Commandos" on countless missions against the Third Reich. During one of these missions deep into occupied France, Fury was severely maimed by a landmine, only to be found by Doctor Berthold Stremberg. There, he was used as a test subject for the Infinity Formula, which healed his wounds completely and greatly reduced his aging. However, without an annual dose, Fury would die.

After the toppling of Hitler's empire, the world descended into the long decades of tension and paranoia known as the Cold War. It was in these years that Fury would earn his reputation. He joined the OSS and then the CIA, wherein he gained the rank of Colonel for his work in Korea; it was the last official rank ever bestowed upon him.

As the Cold War intensified, and the US government became more aware of the slow but sure increase of metahuman and mutant populations worldwide, they formed the Strategic Hazard Intervention Espionage and Logistics Directorate, or "S.H.I.E.L.D." Due to his exemplary work behind enemy lines in two wars, as well as missions against the Soviet Union itself and underground terrorist groups such as HYDRA and the League of Assassins, Fury was one of the first and finest agents for the job. Throughout the course of the Cold War, Colonel Fury was on the forefront lines of a secret war between S.H.I.E.L.D. and countless foes, eventually becoming the Director of the covert organization. The exact details of his 40-year-long career are, of course, strictly classified.

In the early 21st Century, Fury is now retired, believing that his service to the country was finally finished. However, with the rise of much more dangerous metahumans launching open attacks on American cities, it may not be long before the old soldier picks up his gun once again.

Powers: Although Fury has no true extra-human abilities, his years in the military and the covert groups that followed have kept him in the very peak of human conditioning. He is a master of stealth and espionage, as well as an ace gunman and an expert at hand-to-hand combat. His true age may well be nearly 100 years old, but due to his injections of the Infinity Formula, he appears to be only in his mid-50s.

As Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., Fury was privy to countless resources and technology. Though his current affiliation to the organization and to the US government itself is unknown, it is possible that he still has access to much of it.

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:

1. I wouldn't be able to buy that, what with all the alien invasions and superhuman attacks on American soil, the government would sit idly by while vigilantes did all the dirty work. Fury is perfect for the "shady G-Man" figure, who can walk rather morally ambiguous lines in the service of his country. Plus, writing spy stories is fun.

2. I'm only playing DC characters right now and would like to play a Marvel one.

3. What with most of the superheroes right now only starting out, it'd be an interesting twist to have a burned-out veteran who's seen and done everything somewhere in the mix.

What can you bring to this game?

Creative approaches to the character and how he would deal with the One-Universe setting, detailed and descriptive writing, and a rather dry sense of humor when need be.

How many times do you intend on posting a DAY IN the RPG:

At least once a day or so, depending on how well I juggle my characters.
