One Universe RPG: Season III OOC Thread

Yes. It's more or less about the PM I sent, but I'm sure that Iron Man wouldn't have a problem explaining to the JL that Spider-Man had to stay behind to help clean up his city, unless you wnat him to attend.

Nah, he'll attend. Gives me time to think about what I want to do to close the Season, anyway.

Oh, this Season is already approaching its end? Well, at least I'm finally at the end of my sluggishly paced OU Hawkman stuffs.

I got the PM, and I tackled it briefly and then gave up because I've been working on this huge Engineering Graphics project. Each model I work on just about takes me 2-5 hours depending on how complex they are and I've got like at least 15-20 models. So, yea...aside from Finals week approaching I'm swamped on my laptop.

Hey guys, now that the end of season's approaching, I have an idea I'd like to share with you.

I'm thinking of trying my hand at my first ever song-themed post. I was thinking of ending the season with a kind of "montage" of various characters, set around the song. If you'd like to be a part of it, just send me a post by PM.

This doesn't have to be your "season ender". You can do your own final post. This should be more like a little snippet, no more than a paragraph or two in length, which sums up the place your character is at as we end Season 3 and move forward to Season 4. And please write all segments in third person perspective., it will make things much less confusing.

Sooner the better. We've still got plenty of time, I'd imagine, but it'd be nice to have advance notice on how many posts I'm working with.

To me, it sounds like something that would work well as a final post, really. I mean, I understand people want to do their own enders, but I don't see why they can't do that and then submit something brief. Just my two cents.

Now, in Byrd's case, I can understand. His ending is exactly what you would want going into next Season.

I thought the same thing. Ideally, I'd like this to end the season. I've got an ender worked out for Two-Face, and already ended with Thor, but both will be included. Similarly, people who already have enders planned are welcome to also submit a little something for this montage post. A paragraph would suffice, really. But at the same time, there's no pressure to submit anything, it's only if you would like to be a part of this little experiment.

Also, Byrd, since I will be resuming playing Kyle next season, could you PM me what you had planned for Daredevil and his ring? My season ender for him stated that there were a few energy signatures from GL rings across the universe, but I was no where near close to restarting the Corps. At least not until end of Season 4/beginning of Season 5.

Really? Well, I plan on getting the Corp. back together. They've been a big ole mess since the first season when Galactus tore through Oa like TP and I plan on changing it. Don't like it? TOUGH! You shouldn't have dropped Kyle.

Or is it just fair play; another play could apply for his character at the beginning of next season and the two applications would be judged?

Aahh....MOST intriguing....

Just be aware that being established as a playing a character, and knowledge of their history will play a factor in judging.

We also have a rule that when a player goes over their one month limit, there's a 24 hour waiting period after the first application for other players to try for the character. I'm wondering if we should do the same for the start of the season...

One month? It says on the front page that a character is up for grabs after two weeks?

After two weeks, someone can apply for a character. But we don't take a character way from someone, or take them off the roster. And the player can start posting as their character again. And if someone does apply, the overdue owner can try and work it out with the other player to keep their character.


After a month, they outright lose the character. And they'll have to reapply to get them back.
