Opening night of X3 - who are you taking with you?

I'll never take another date to a movie. Pay 10 bucks to make out when you can just do that at home. Movie prices as they are, I want to watch what i pay for.

And um, just to get back on topic... I'll be going to a midnight showing with my buddy who isn't as much of an X-Men fan as I am, but I can manipulate him to my will and make him do whatever I want

Actually, he usually just goes along with stuff just to do something, and when it comes to movies, he and I will often go to movies that the other wants to see, even though we don't, just for the hell of it. Although, it's easier for this, because he does like X-Men, just not as much as me.

I'm trying to convince him to come see it 5 times over the course of opening weekend with me:

-Midnight Showing
-Opening Day
-Saturday
-Sunday
-My birthday (Monday, Memorial Day)

Well, I've never actually dressed up for a movie... but I did wear a t-shirt to Episode III that said "This Star Wars better not suck"... then my car got towed... and me and my buddy had to walk through downtown Calgary with me wearing that shirt... good times

Yea um... I actually got kinda lucky...

My friend and his girlfriend were gonna go see V For Vendetta, cuz she really wants to see it, and she invited a bunch of her friends (one who I've met, who is really friggin' hot), and they invited me to go too...

It might be a good thing now that I look at it, that the plans fell through, because I dunno if the hot girl in my friend's girlfriend's friend really would have needed to see the way I would have reacted to the X-Men 3 trailer... I mean, I imagine I would have been mimicking Magneto in his whole "FURY THAT THIS WORLD HAS NEVER WITNESSED!" speech, and his "They wish to cure us, but I say we are the cure!" speech. That probably wouldn't have been a great impression on a hot girl who I wouldn't mind leaving a good impression with

And god forbid I have a date for the actual movie, when I'm geekasm'ing through the entire movie! I always thought that "geekasm" and "fangasm" were just jokes... and then I saw the trailer for this movie, and I realized that it's a serious condition that probably requires some sort of treatment. I mean, when I would get more excited over the movie than seeing said girl from earlier discussion giving me a lapdance.......

Here i am minding my own buisness reading the thread at work/school when someone walks by and asks me: "hey what's up with that guys bulge". Here where my three reactions: Suprised Disturbed and ROFLMAO as much as i wanted to share this with the ppl around me i was better off just keeping it to myself and forgetting about it.

BTW im going to the premiere with half the students in my major COMPUTER ANIMATION!! and other friends and some other group of peeps from the boards if i hear back from them. So im packing the theatre and it's gonna be loud and crazy. So i already told everyone we'r watching this twice before we leave... to another theatre
