These are so cool. When they reach the 80s, I hope they'll do some Apocalypse Pop Art.

Again this has nothing to movie. Apocalypse at wall in cave?

Its called Marketing, conveying the notion that Apoc has been around century, throughout time and is the worlds first mutant.

But he was born in Ancient Egypt, not when cavemans were walking at this wold, or Apocalypse from future is time traveller.

Not all cave paintings are from prehistoric, caveman times though.

Those aren't even cavemen drawings, they look far more Native American.

Although you can't hear most of the dialogue, there is a new clip of Erik and Apocalypse included in the Good Morning America interview with Michael Fassbender.

I thought the ancient Egypt scenes look exciting, I just wish I knew why his followers turned on him and I was expecting some great back story but it didn't happen.

And after hundreds of years, sunlight for his machine (which wasn't even explained where it came from) is only what it takes to wake him up, eh!

Why the hell would they need to explain where it came from? Not everyone needs everything spoon fed to them, a little mystery isn't a bad thing.

Because the machine was a key thing for Apocalypse to move body to body, its not just a prop thing that serves no purpose that needs to be a mystery for everyone. Explaining it would also give the viewers more information especially if he's not coming back anymore.

And apparently, Moira caused this for leaving the entrance open for sunlight.

I was willing to forgive Fox for butchering Apocalypse's look

But WTF happened to his Technopathy? Such a waste!

I thought Isaac was completely miscast. Apocalypse just fell flat completely.

I thought he was amazing! I have a friend who adores Apocalpse and he said it's a shame they missed some parts of his origins but over all he's very happy with him. I love the reverb in his voice!

The film says 'tens of thousands of years ago' and that was long before Ancient Egypt.

And that's not how it was in comic. In comic was about 3000 BC, like the begin scene in movie.
Also in movie it was like I wrote, sleeping since 3600 BC to 1983. So no Apocalypse and his Horseman after 3600 BC.

Isaac was good but the character was so underdeveloped.

I don't know whether these "I want to destroy world" villains are so bland by their nature, or just badly written?

I don't get a lot of criticisms personally, he was a lot like his cartoon/comic book counterpart, and when it came to it, he showed he was the most powerful mutant there is, with one key exception.

He has lived his whole life as a god, so the complex was certainly expected and his personality matched that, I liked the powers they gave him also, though I did miss the ones from the comics. Overall though I don't get the hate.

He looks nothing like what Apocalypse is suppose to look like.. He looks like a weird mix of Ivan Oooze from the Power Rangers and the monster from Jeepers Creepers

I didnt sure his 4 original horsemen all die.
A woman with telekinesis powers, another one with freaking face and superhuman strengh, a guy who transforms opponents as squeleton, another one (man/girl?) who manipulate fire. I didnt see this one dying

The big stone dropped on them

I did like the way he referred to mutants as "my child", "my son". Very eerie yet calming.
