I don't think he's implying that he's literally God, just that people have called him that (Ra, Krishna, Yahweh etc.) throughout time.

Listening to Isaac, say he has to go to incredibly powerful people (Psylocke, Storm, Magneto, Angel) to persuade them into joining him. I was thinking why Angel is powerful, it's because of his wings. Crazy bible thumpers will jump on that **** in two seconds. I'm glad there is a biblical tone to Apocalypse's methods. He's not just recruiting "powerful" mutants per se but people with religious influence. I'm excited to see how all this plays out.

Anyone think Angel's wings will be damaged by the X-Men and will be augmented by Apocalypse and become Archangel? I think Storm and Psylocke will defect to the X-Men by this point and possibly Magneto too.

Apocalypse actually resembles Archangel so maybe he will mold him into his own appearance.

I agree. They'll probably augment his voice, but I'd be perfectly fine with how his voice was in the trailer.

he is taller and has a larger frame than Thanos.

they went with Jerome Opeña's design from Uncanny X-Force v.1 for the headpiece vs. what Jackson Guice created and Walter Simonson refined in X-Factor vol.1 as well.

the costume detail is impressive yet his stature is not imposing at all.

not solid on Sansa Stark attempting jean grey at all.


regardless Oscar Isaac will bring a strong presentation, he and Kodi Smit-McPhee are the strengths from the new casting.

It was a weird darker and edgier thing the comics did to his suit, but whatever. It's accurate.

it looks like a cross of x-men ledgends and cartoons apoc. I am liking him and in the full footage he looks more blue grey than purple. Also I am loving how his horsemen reflect aspects of different things. Storm has been worshipped as a goddess in the past, and with shipp saying about cairo the chances are that they see her as one of the ancient egyptian goddesses, Angel obviously has symbolic visuals to christianity and so will be used for them, and Magneto as a Jew represents them as war. I think we could see some interesting global action in this.
