Our "Space Princess": David Corenswet IS Clark Kent/Superman!

Is it a legacy sequel if it doesn't have any of the original cast? I just thought that's what that meant.

Well, there are many sequels and “requels” out there that don’t really have any characters in it that from earlier films (this is especially common in the horror genre since it’s not unusual for the heroes to die at the end). So I guess it counts as a sequel if you look at it like that (same basic concept but with a new cast).

But it weirdly seemed to want to distance itself as much as possible from the original. I think the only connective tissue was Dorothy making an appearance, though it’s not clear why Kate had it at the beginning. I guess it doesn’t matter that much but it would have been cool to have something reference to the movie somewhere. I expected at least something like we gif in the movie Predators where there aren’t any actors from the original film but they talk about the events in the movie.

Interesting choice of colors for them to have handed out to him and the stunt department. :shr:

I think it’s cute how close he and a Maria seem to have gotten, since I guess they spent weeks rehearsing her kicking his ass. :hehe:

The black and silver reminds me of the table reading post they took down.

Old pic, but hey it's Superman and Green Lantern. :o

He has a kid!

Not that it's important, but I think this technically makes David the first actor to portray Superman in live action that's already a father.lol All of the previous actors were either still single or just married when they first portrayed the role.

Actually refreshing to see a celebrity that values their privacy and doesn't throw up "first look" baby pictures to, say, People Magazine.

He got married down here last spring. Whole thing was done completely on the downlow.

Actually, Kirk Alyn's first child, daughter Theresa Feggo, was born June 20th 1945. Alyn starred as the first live action Superman in 1948.
