I see you're Team Scruff.David has never looked more like Superman here than any other photos I've seen of him.
No weirder to me than a lot of Reeves’ Batman being shot in Glasgow, Scotland. Tax incentives and costs are all paramount, aesthetics can always be manufactured or altered to make it look like anywhere
Just a heads up we don't live like crocodile Dundee. No matter how many of our movies make us seem that way. We have cities and most of our culture has become americanised sadly. So we might not be new York, but we certainly have big cities that can disguise locations if executed right.Sure but you’re taking about a fictional city with Gotham so you can kinda shoot it wherever you want. I’m not sure how well Australia doubles for New York and New Jersey, even with the various things you can do to try and make it look that way.

“Superman is a square and David is a square,” Gunn said. “He listens to American Songbook. Like Dean Martin and Cole Porter. That’s what he listens to on his iPad. That’s weird. But oh, so Superman.”
“He’s a public facing character, he’s a symbol,” Corenswet said. “There’s a presentational element to it, because he does want to present an image of calm and authority. While he doesn’t always feel that way, he always wants to make other people feel that way as Superman.”
Gunn has promised that the film is “a personal journey for Superman that’s entirely new.” He’s a character who is “pretty damn good, but flawed.” And anyone who has seen the trailer knows there will be romance with Rachel Brosnahan’s Lois Lane — but there’s even a different spin on that.
“He’s in love with her,” Gunn said. “She’s the one that needs the convincing in the relationship. It’s not him. You really see where he needs her in his life.”
One of my favorite parts of the trailer is this subtle node to the scene in Superman: The Movie after Lois's interview when Christopher Reeve transitions from Clark to Superman. David's first words are a playful, high pitched "Yeah" and "Sure" but then suddenly...
