Our "Space Princess": David Corenswet IS Clark Kent/Superman!

I’d love to see David in a musical. He mentioned Guys & Dolls in an interview. I bet he can crush Luck Be a Lady.

Wait hold up. I can’t believe I haven’t seen this mentioned yet.

How did we get through a whole superhero movie without ONE shirtless scene?

This must be remedied in the sequel.

Maybe they’re saving that for warworld? Now that would be cool

I can see why Lex feels intimidated by Superman.:whoa:

Perfectly said!

And that's why this new Superman works for me because it totally (and finally) gets that aspect of the character.

Reeve is who David reminded me of, person and actor. David understands the character, and Gunn allowed him to show a Superman we deserve, finally.

I'm finding it crazy how different and nore superman like David looks now compared to pre Superman. It's like his face is two different people

Feels like two completely different people.
I mean, he bulked up a lot. But I don’t know. The first thing I ever saw him in was The Politician and even though he was very skinny in that (and he played a very troubled prom king type of character), I instantly saw a bit of Superman in him. He just had… something that stood out. The look and the magnetic charisma. Then I saw him in Hollywood and he sold me on the Clark Kent persona.

From that point, he was the only option in my book. Dude was born to play Superman.
The steroids are working. :o
David did a pretty dirty bulk for the role, which resulted in him adding fat as well as muscle since Gunn wanted the All-Star Superman/For All Seasons farmboy strong look rather than chiselled Greek god.

It accounts for his facial changes. David's face got fuller and a bit softer, pretty much the same thing as Bale when he dirty bulked to regain as much weight as possible for Batman Begins after The Machinist.

Henry beats him again. :o
