Our "Space Princess": David Corenswet IS Clark Kent/Superman!

Oh no. Corenswet just posted a photo of himself with a mustache.

Why are mustaches coming back? Unless your name is Sam Elliott or Tom Selleck, THEY DON’T LOOK GOOD ON YOU. It was bad enough when mullets started resurfacing and now everyone is trying to bring mustaches back. Please stop before it consumes us all.

I see your Tom Selleck/Sam Elliott, and raise you...

Amused that every once in awhile, they slip and keep the “Legacy” in there.

Just read up on the true story. It’s very tragic but also kind of inspiring and this could really be a breakout role for Corenswet to show his acting chops. I’m glad he’s not pigeonholing himself into a bunch of silly action roles the way that Cavill did, post-Superman. I understand the appeal of wanting to be in big franchises and fun movies but you need to do smaller stuff if you want to be truly taken seriously as an actor.

I hope his career skyrockets after this movie.

I think it will. Judging by his prior work, he seems to be the first Superman actor in a long while that is really building a diverse portfolio. He was great in Hollywood, We Own This City and The Politician, playing three very different characters (yet I could see some Superman in all of them). He was also really good in Pearl. He was kind of forgettable in Twisters but hardly anyone in that movie had much to do aside from the three leads.

And after Superman, he has that John Tuggle biopic that could be an awards-contender if it’s good.

I need to watch the rest of Lady in Lake; I believe his role in that is small but the show is supposed to be great.

Purposely slouching, being a bumbling nerd. Make him adorkable, Gunn. Jack Quaid and MAWS showed it can work!
How Daily Planet Clark Kent was gonna look was the only thing I was worried about tbh. If it had been toooooo Donner-esque it would have been a turn off.

Glad to say I'm loving it 😁
