The Dark Knight Out of order editing?

Did anyone else notice this???
At the end when Batman and Gordon and a bunch of police are on the roof of a building across from the Jokers building. Did anyone notice when Batman says he wants to go across and to give him 5 minutes Gordon says something along the lines of No, you cant I have to save him or I have to say Harvey." But he says it with such passion as if he knows something that Batman doesnt. then there is a scene. Then Gordon gets the call from Ossifer Ramyerazz about his family. It seems to me that they edited this scene out of order.
Did anyone else catch this?

Originally, Gordon thought that Dent was a hostage in the building across the street...because he was a missing person after the hospital attack. Gordon, who feels responsible for Dent's tragedy, wanted to save Dent himself. Batman goes in, Gordon gives him "two minutes" and then Harvey calls Gordon from a cell phone and reveals his true whereabouts.

No Gordan was feeling guilty about what happened to Harvey especially since there last meeting in the hospital then when he found out Harvey was missing he wanted to save him in hopes it would redeam himself in a way so he was a bit of a wreck after batman jumped in he got the call from Dent telling him where to find his kids so he left after them.

Gordon and Batman both see the importance of Harvey Dent to Gotham. That's why he says it with a passion, not because he knew there was something up with Harvey. Well he does know something's up with Harvey because he had the hospital scene with him, but the scenes are edited correctly.

Why? If you've gotten a phone call telling you your family's threatened, you will immediately go look for them not sit around.

this is the only post anyone needs to read in this thread. especially since Gordon was upset at the hospital when finding out dent was missing and then himself saying "we have to save harvey dent.... I!!! have to save harvey dent"

Well, my understanding is that he goes through two different glass doors. It's only the second one that we see him going through it, with a different perspective.

How does that make more sense? Had he known that Dent was not in there, then why rush to rescue the hostages?
