Ehhh, I think he has potential. Now if we want to talk bad acting, the actress who plays Iris is terrible.

    Yep. THAT was unexpected!

And I agree about Agustin. He's serviceable, but is nowhere near the level of, say, Ezra Miller.

I definitely agree with Erza being the better actor, I just hope the actual script and directing of the movie will be good.

Gustin has weird line delivery, he sounds amateur-ish imo

Well, depending on who you talk to, you can either say it's poor acting or part of his charm. :oldrazz:

^This just... so much. He gets way more praise than he, and I don't like saying it, but deserves.

I really liked the first season of the Flash but haven't been able to get into Season Two

Not remotely interested in the DCEU Flash, which sucks given he's probably my favourite DC hero (tied with Batman, obviously)

As far as Gustin's acting... He's ok I guess.

But my god he can't pull off any sort of quip, or emotional scene. The rest of the time he's fine. But I cringe whenever they try to put him in an emotional scene

Can't stand the cheesy narration they do at the start of each episode, he delivers those poorly, although that's really down to how badly written they are

I only watched an episode of The Flash, and had issues with it in the same way I had issues with Gotham.

They have 45 minutes or so to tell a story within an episode, meaning they can take their time or try to rush. Gotham and The Flash try to rush whereas shows like TWD, Breaking Bad, etc. took their time with the time given to 'em per episode.

All of that said, I still liked Gustin from what I saw.

They follow more monster-of-the-week storytelling, which is fine IMO because it means they can cover more of the rogues gallery. They do have an overarching story, but it's usually built slower and only has a few episodes totally dedicated to it

Between the pretty meh acting, the overall cheap look and the cheesy writing I just can't get into the show at all. I don't see what everyone else sees I guess.

Thinking of pre-ordering Spidey Volumes 1&2 soon.

Really happy Marvel has a more-or-less standalone series for Spider-Man, as there's not a lot of Spider-Man comics that work like that and I really like the modern approach to it.

Man, I've been sick at home since Sunday. Real painful canker sore too (the worst), and it just doesn't make the countdown any better. All these people overseas have seen it, special critics screenings taking place, fan screenings.....gah. This is worse than waiting for The Force Awakens!! And tmrw barely marks a week left.

A little over a week away. Gonna be brutal trying to avoid spoilers too. Already almost came across one talking about a post credits scene

canker sores suck. I had one recently that wouldn't go away because it was right near my upper tooth and everytime I ate the damn thing would get irritated. I had it when I was watching Civil War at the fan screening coincidentally.
