And I watched jurassic world while I was really tired. So I don't know if that's why I didn't really enjoy it. It was just kinda predictable.

Very predictable. But...still enjoyable. Being tired probably did affect your enjoyment of the movie--I know this has occurred with me in the past.

I never thought I'd see a dinosaur movie that would make Velociraptors into a likeable character, lol. And one that I'd be rooting for.

You know, with the absence of corner images in modern covers, I love this cover a whole lot more.

What else do I think now looking at this cover?
The hero's outfit makes me think of Blue Beetle's (Ted Kord) costume.
The villainou is a Dormammu lookalike with Deadpool mask, Spider-Man inspired shirt, Firebrand & Firestrom inspired outfit.

I love the look of things.

All your observations are pretty interesting to read, I'm mostly not conscious of wherever any of the inspiration comes from for any sorts of design cues. It's just whatever I feel is fun, after pulling from a whole 20 years worth of just absorbing comics. Cringeworthy stuff can be entertaining.
The author of Sword Art Online confesses his work on that series is cringe worthy, it still has its fans, and I confess it really is stupid, but entertaining.
