Yep, in California, for an extra 100 dollars a day, she will get her own private cell, 24 hour guard service, better food, and pretty much anything else she wants. So she is pretty much going on a $4,500 vacation which to her is the equivilant of paying five bucks.

Deputies can't override California law. If Paris pays for it in California, she is entitled to it.

Hey, 45 days without seeing that stupid pose she does for every single photo ever taken of her (I wonder if her mug shots have that same look?) on the covers of the stupid celebrity rags that are prominently featured at the checkout stand at my local supermarket may not be a lot, but I'll take it. Gladly. And I have to think that at least SOME of her sycophants will wake up and realize she's a total idiot who went to jail for being stupid and irresponsible and that it's not "cool" anymore. At least I can HOPE they will.

It would make her even more stupid to try and paint herself as a victim with a media blitz after she gets out. She went to jail for being stupid and deserves her sentence. Whining about it after the fact in public would be a bad PR move, I think. I suspect a lot of people would come out of the woodwork to point out how stupid she is, too.

I have just found out that Paris will be kept at Century Regional Detention Facility which is a lock-up facility. It's where they keep most celebs in her situation. All the cells there are exactly alike and contain 2 bunks. Paris will be kept alone and be fed in her cell for her own safety. She gets 1 hour of rec/visitation time outside other than that she is confined to her cell. The Deputies I know have informed me that to receive pay for preferential treatment of an inmate in jail is actually ILLEGAL. It's true that someone could be bribing a CO but it's highly unlikely as there are easier ways to make more money.
