Ant-Man Paul Rudd is Ant-Man

I don't know that Lang is even still in it. Rudd's the kind of personality I would have figured for Lang. I'm having a hard time imagining a good casting choice now. Adam Scott? Steve Carrell? you can't really cast someone more likable than Rudd. :shrugs:

Could be nearly exactly the same with a different Ant-Man. They could theoretically bring Pym and Lang together into one character.

I would rather that they eliminate Lang if they really have to, and keep Pym. Maybe, instead of just inventing the Pym particles purely for research, Pym invents them to save someone or break into a place, in much the same way that Lang went to steal the suit from Pym to do just that in the original story. So rather than it being "to steal an Ant-Man", it would be more "to create an Ant-Man."

I definitely don't want Lang as the inventor and partner of Jan in place of Pym. That would just be a slap in the face to Hank.

When I say they would bring them together, it would probably be with Hank Pym as the "main character". The character would be named Hank Pym. But perhaps they give him Cassie and a bit of Lang's motivation.

I haven't paid much attention to this movie until now but the combo of Paul Rudd, Edgar Wright and Marvel is just too tempting. This should rock.

I think we could see something like this Ultron AI has been around for awhile, like Howard stark worked on it, Zola maybe, Pym perfected it, it went to Hydra/AIM, shield has a version. Like Ultrons been all around constantly learning and growing and just laying dormant but aware until the perfect moment.

It doesn't make much sense to go into AntMan and show him working with any type of Ultron things since that whole arc will just have ended, but I find it hard to believe he won't have some hand in the creation, however large or small it may be.

I'm assuming you mean true to the comics and not the MCU. Obviously the movies don't follow the comics 100%. Plus the real life ages of the actors doesn't dictate what the ages of the characters in the movie will be.
