...should be fair game for in-the-workplace violence. Don't bring your damn disease and germs to work and cough and sneeze them all over the damn place, sharing them with everyone else in the office. It's rude, inconsiderate and selfish. If you are sick, STAY HOME! :cmad:

*cough cough*

Awww, was someone's kitty litter not changed this morning Jag? :oldrazz:

And then they complain about how horrible they feel. Duh! You're sick! You should be at home, resting! A-HOLE! :cmad:

i have to agree. it's inconsiderate, especially during the holiday season. my spanish teacher came in sick the weekend before christmas and used to stand in the back next to me, coughing all period-long. guess who was sick just in time for christmas?

Ha, wasn't yesterday, Call In Gay Day? They didn't want people thinking they were gay.

One of our managers came in sick about three weeks ago. The superstar never had a day off, giving us the pleasure of seeing the bastard sat at his desk blowing his nose 500 times a ****ing day.

He gave one of my colleagues a dose of it. SHE stayed off, but when she got back in the manager gave her a verbal warning for 'lack of attendance'.

What an arse.

In all honesty, I have a slew of sick days that haven't used so I use any excuse to being hung over to having a sore throat as an excuse to take off.

It's funny. I will use the slightest cough to miss work.

That's even worse. Double *****e-baggery on your manager for that one. :down

We had a guy come in the office today, and told everone "I just puked before walking in here."

Everyone told him to leave.

If you wake up and look like a zombie from being sick, stay home.

I wonder what lengths sick homophobes went to yesterday to make it to work.

If they get sick easier than others, they might be originally from a warmer climate. [/A-Man logic]

:woot:

One can argue that it is you that are being rude, inconsiderate and selfish. You gotta work to eat Jag. I don't know about your work place, but not every job has Paid Time off or paid sick days. You hateful beast.

Yes, jag, I recommend you take a little advice from David Foster Wallace and reorient yourself.

No! :cmad:

I never stay out of work when I am sick, I go in and save the days off for when I'm healthy.

You act under the notion that those people want to be at work sick. Don't be a fool of a Took.

:cmad:

If they are sick and they are at work, then they wanted to be at work while they were sick. :down

Again, that's not true. Some people don't have that choice. You at your current place of employment may get benefits, I don't know. Doesn't mean everyone else in the world does.
