Lady Vader ... fair enough maybe movie version and Dark willow tv version would be a good fight.

Angelus.. that's what Jean has done as Dark phoenix she could read people's thoughts even before they could react, and that was in the year 1980.. that was a while ago way... way... before Dark Willow was created. Joss whedon must of loved Chris Claremont's and John Byrne's Dark phoenix to create willow, for the tv. series Buffy the Vampire slayer. Let's just say Dark phoenix and Dark willow their equal.

It's not fair to compare her to comic book Dark Phoenix... Writing it down on paper is way easier then creating it on a "tight on budget" tv series. All I'm saying is I would be at seeing these two throw down on the big screen.

Since I first saw that 7 minute clip and saw how they made Phoenix look, I thought it looked badass.

I honestly think it makes her look more menacing than firebird effects. Definatley more evil.

And in the case of Phoenix, and for the climax of this trilogy, the more evil the better

That scene in Spidey2007's avatar (which is an awesome avatar by the way), with Logan looking back, and the closeup of Jean's face... it looks like the Devil himself is rising from the depths of Hell. I love it!

I'm fine with the Dark Willow look but I think I might hate it if she has no fire effects whatsoever. I like how evil and menacing she looks but I want flames to show the Phoenix side. I could really care less about the shining eyes but I believe for a character with the name Phoenix/Dark Phoenix, fire needs to play a role with her powers.

My Beast/Gorilla example was good and the best. Everyone should read it as canon.

i'm not especially fussed about any similarities of famke's face to anything else(nothing is entirerly original any more) but i think straying from the phoenix fire effect was a wise move as the none x-men fan movie goers will only draw comparisons to pyro and the human torch. They will also wonder why it's there since it has nothing to do with her powers.

at first i never imagined phoenix would be somewhat similar to willow (buffy the vampire slayer), i was expecting a more FIREY look like the one in X2, but overall i'd rate her look as average, nothing special but they could pull it off if they add more fire, lol.
