So my friends and I have just had the best weekend ever down at the beach after a week of hot days. I have blisters on my feet and my body aches but thats ok, none of that matters.

So on the way home, one of my more gym-junkie friends starts complaining that we don't do enough physical stuff like go to the beach. "It's always shopping for comic books and movies" says he.

"Let's do more outdoorsy stuff"

What does that mean? Suggestions please? What is a good physical fun thing to do and keep your clothes on at the same time?

I walk to work daily, which is about 4 miles each way. It's an easy way to add some extra exercise. I hike in local parks, and bike a 14 mile route near my apartment. Look into trail maps in your city- you'd be surprised what kind of outdoor spaces are right in the city.

Disk golf is really popular, and an outdoorsy kind of thing. I've never played, though.

Well many of my friends are members of my dojo so I met them through karate so we do that together. My other buds and I usually play football, soccer, tennis or golf. Gotta stay active and stay fit, I can't sit still, I could never imagine sitting indoors playing video games.

Go to the gym with him. If you are going to turn on the froth machine, you might as well go all the way. Besides, working out indoors beats the outdoors any day of the week.

Paintball was pretty fun back when we played it.

It was good exercise.

Depends on what position you play, speedball-wise. You can get away with not doing much moving. But like all sports, you get what you put in.

Speedball I was usually Back, back center. Most I ever bumped to was snake.

Which was a mistake.

You should get into a fight with him, I'm pretty sure he'd win though.

Make yourself a frontman and you'll get yourself a workout. Superman slide through the X! Cmon now.

Hahahahahaha, we're too poor for an X.

We usually do 2v2 for fun, 4v4 for actual game.

in 2v2 I work middle and front. Usually right front bumper.

While on the note of shooting your friends.

If you can't afford paintball (Which does cost a **** load) go for Nerf!

My friends and I would Nerf a lot in my friends basement, trust me, it was a work out.

Hah, we also play Air-Soft in a basement like that but it curved to an L.

I remember being out of pellets while my friend was standing over me shooting me with his 300 Max pellet rifle.

Me: "Dude! I'm out of ammo!".
Him: "I don't care!".

Playing football, soccer, basketball, etc is way cheaper than paintball.

Try parkour. It doesn't cost anything, assuming you don't injure yourself while jumping across rooftops.

For school, I'm on the football, basketball and volleyball teams so I keep in shape throughout the school year.

Paintball, Nerf, and Airsoft are all really fun things to do that can require a lot of physical activity. plus you can play paintball and airsoft outside. Capture the flag is fun if you got enough people.

Go out and buy a live cougar, put it in your apartment, and try to survive. That will get in your exercise and the adrenaline rush you seek.
