Sorry, but Shia makes this shot so incredibly unrealistic. It's like looking at some nerds wet dream, emphasis on the word "dream". I don't know what is the bigger leap of faith for me, transforming cars or this...and I'm leaning towards this.

I'm not saying it doesn't happen elsewhere in movies. You're probably right that it does. The geek and hot chick cliche' is pretty common, but this one is almost taken to extremes. Megan Fox is hot is an extremely hawt/****ty/pure sex type of way, while Shia screams "massive nerd" right down to his naturally curly hair. Tobey and Kirsten seem a little more on par, plus Peter Parker (at least in the comics) is portrayed as moderately to very handsome.

Megan Fox and Shia don't play off each other well at all, in any picture.

Jealous? Of what! Shia doesn't get Megan Fox, she doesn't go home and bang him when the filming wraps up. Those are fictional characters with zero emotional investment in that scene. BAG gets Megan, if you want someone to be jealous of, that's who you'd be jealous of.

The problem is Shia makes an unrealistic counterpart to Megan. The disparity between her and him are so extreme in the photography it borders on hilarity.

as if Megan is playing the more important character. if anything, it's really Megan that makes an unrealistic counterpart for Shia...

...you can't fault Shia for his looks. he looks like Spike and he's the main human character of the series.

Maybe she loves him for who he is not for 6 packs and Brad Pitt's face,the script reads that Sam is funny and likable and not a bad looking guy,Megan has a shallow ******* for a BF,they spend the film running for their lives together and a bond beyond the superficiality of looks is formed
